Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow! High Powered! • I have been looking for a product like this one. To me, it’s like having a hand-held circular saw! (Ok, so it is…) Wow, I love this! It has dual cutting blades and really cuts through, almost everything. It claims to cut through metal, aluminum, copper, stainless steel and cast iron. I have only used it on wood and it powered through barn wood with ease (always found that hard to cut through, not with this baby!!) It cuts in two directions which totally amazed me! What all comes in the box? The saw has 2 blades, guide, and a 6’ power cord. It also has its own lubricating system and comes with a box of 8 lubrication tubes. I liked that it has ergonomic handles and felt almost zero vibration. For a hand-held saw, this thing is small but mighty! I would totally recommend this product and every time that I’ve used it, I’ve been amazed. Think you will be, too! High powered, for sure! June 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Super Saw This is a good little saw, 5" it tears through everything with very little effort. I cut tin roofing with no problem and it was like a hot knife through butter. I had to cut some PVC pipe and again no strain. I was feeling pretty good about the saw so I started cutting wet 2' x 10' deck boards. It did bog down a bit but kept right on cutting. So I was impressed. I did not change the blade to cut all of the afore mentioned media. The saw is small and easy to handle, the large handle helps study the saw while in use. There is hardly any noticable kickback from the saw. This is because the blades are going opposent directions. I am not to keen on the wax lubricant to keep the blades from the friction freeze up. It is only a 5" saw so dont try to cut down telephone poles with it and you will do ok. July 24, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This saw is junk! I bought this to cut aluminum sheet and light aluminum angle (3/16 inch) I used it only for light aluminum and only for short straight cuts of between two and twelve inches. I never mad more than four consecutive cuts and never ran the saw more than 45 seconds at a time because I could feel the housing getting hot to the touch. I used the lubricant sticks on the blades and even augmented that lubrication with oil in the hope that it would help the saw run cooler. Despite these precautions and pampering, the saw burned up after only a few weeks of use. I would guess I made no more than 50 cuts with it total. It did make clean smooth cuts in the aluminum, and I was hoping to avoid buying a plasma cutter for the few aluminum jobs I get in my welding shop. This saw is a disappointment. Don't waste your money. June 24, 2014
