Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. Please look at the balast on your fixture and see who the manufacture of the balast is. It should have a name and phone number listed, you can contact the them for a replacement if one is available. Thanks!

Customer Reviews

1-Light 48 in. White Fluorescent Strip is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product but bottom plate can be tricky to install Overall I am happy with this product's operation and the brightness of the modern T8 lights. However, the frame is quite thin and lightweight and can be easily bent on the ends if you aren't careful. The "snap-on" bottom plate can be tricky to secure properly because you have to perfectly align it at all four corners to make it fit right. If one of the plate's thin lip ends comes from the factory bent just slightly, the plate won't fit right and you have to bend it into alignment with pliers, by trial and error. To improve this product, there should be one machine screw added at each end of the bottom plate so that it could be secured to the frame without risk of popping off if it didn't snap on perfectly. The old unit I replaced with this product had that feature in addition to the snap-on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's very hard to find a 40-watt fluorescent light fixture so I was very happy to buy this one. It does what I wanted (provide a basic 40-watt light). It looks good and works very well. Nearly all the light fixtures use two 40-watt bulbs, which is much more than I need, so I was very happy to find a fixture that uses a single bulb.
