Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What a difference this new vent makes! We are in the middle of a complete bathroom remodel. The bathroom was so outdated everything had to be ripped out and replaced. The old vent we had was a dinosaur and we hated to turn it on because the sound it made was so loud we couldn't stand it. We just replaced it with this vent and WOW! What a huge difference. It's so quite you can barely tell it's running. It was easy to assembly/install and we had it in the wall in no time. We are so pleased with this purchase we are going to go back and get another one for the second bathroom remodel as well. July 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It does what it's made to do. The fan does exactly what it is intended to do. Not noisy at all. It quickly removes humidity out of the bathroom after a shower. I caught these fans on sale and they are a real value. Over all I am happy with the purchase and would recommend this to others. January 5, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by exhaust fan fan is not that larrge, does not pull enough humid air from the shower, think i needed something bigger. July 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by More quiet than higher rated models Before installing this, I wired it on my work bench, flipped the switch, and listened while it ran. It's rated at 4.0 Sones but it runs quieter than a new A.K. model rated at 3.0 Sones that I also bought. I'm returning the A.K model. I noticed that 3 things affect the ventilation noise level: fan motor noise, air movement noise, and vibration. Vibration is minimized by tight construction of the ventilation fan, and this Progress Lighting model is tightly constructed; it's far superior to the A.K model ($7 difference in price). Vibration noise will be amplified if you install the fan without a foam or rubber noise dampener between the fan and any wood or drywall. You can use Mechanic's Non-slip Tool Drawer Liner, Contact Grip Premium Shelf Liner or any similar dense but thin foam sheet between the unit and the joist or drywall. This unit is a keeper. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Exhaust fan replacement This replacement fan was not the same size as the original, but enlarging the opening was not all that difficult. Fan is very quiet but not very powerful. Still, very pleased with product. April 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good fit Bought this vent fan to replace an old one that had gotten loud. It runs quite and it was the same size as the one and no extra work to install.(Husband installed without cutting a bigger hole.)Also, bought at sale price, that makes it a better buy. Ordered online and shipped to local store. Picked up with no problems. Online ordering is easy and convenient . September 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very happy with this fan Very happy with this purchase. Relatively quiet and a great price. October 23, 2013
