Customer Questions & Answers

Does this fit Hampton Bay fans

Asked by: Angelsdad15
Yeah, it works in Hampton bay fans, but it is pretty poor quality so i would give it a pass anyway, there are better light kits available.

will this work on a palm beach II ?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello Badger and thank you for your question. The Progress Lighting AirPro Antique Bronze 3-light Ceiling Fan Light is UL Listed but is rated for indoor use only. It cannot be installed outdoors or in a wet location. The Hampton Bay Palm Beach II 48 in. Outdoor Natural Iron Ceiling Fan is fully wet listed for outdoor applications; however it can be installed indoors or outdoors. The light kit for this ceiling fan must be UL listed and marked “Suitable for Use in Wet Location” if installed in a wet or damp environment. Switches must be UL General Use Switches. (“SUITABLE FOR USE IN WET LOCATIONS” when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit.) You could only use the Progress Lighting AirPro Antique Bronze 3-light Ceiling Fan Light when the Hampton Bay Palm Beach II Ceiling Fan is installed indoors. Page 7 shows the wiring diagram for an optional light kit: Best wishes on your project.

Customer Reviews

AirPro 3-Light Antique Bronze Ceiling Fan Light is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap and workable, but not great. If you really want the can style of light fixture for your fan, this kit can get the job done, but it is overall poor quality. With 60 watt or 60 watt replacement CFL bulbs it is fairly blinding, the arms do not have good hold and will flop down to the standard angle typically, the bulb sockets are not centered in the cans and look really unprofessional, but with bulbs in you can bend them to not look too awful, and the mounting pole that goes into the fan is poorly designed and difficult to tighten well. All in all I cannot recommend this product unless you are trying to save a buck and REALLY like the style.
