All necessary brackets and hardware are provided with the ceiling fan fixture. You will need a high quality junction box attached to the building structure and/or joists to support the ceiling fan.

Answer:
No. It is for indoor use only. We have requested that Home Depot move this product out of the "outdoor" fan category on the site. Sorry for the confusion.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ceiling fan wow this summer it has been so hot thank gosh to having great staff to help pick out the fan. The best feeling in the world is feeling compfortable .. thank you home depot for making my house feel compfortable .. p.s. i love the energy star appliances .. July 23, 2010
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Blades absorb oil- not good for kitchen/dining area I had this fan installed in my dining room and within a few months, the blades look bad because the surface is made of some type of paper (not plastic like my last fan blades), and it absorbs oil from cooking. I'm now looking for replacement blades and haven't found them yet. I tried "universal blades", but the holes on this fans blades are wider than the universal blades. It might be okay in a bedroom or living room, because the air flow is good. November 2, 2014
