I need a separate remote, (movable) to go with my wall remote. Suggestion?

I need a separate remote, (movable) to go with my wall remote. Suggestion?
Asked by: Sky
Should not be a problem. I had the same setup in my last home. Hampton Bay ceiling fan, Hampton Bay wall (remote), and a Hampton Bay (portable, or moveable) control. Worked great. Am currently looking at what I need to do it again. I currently have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan, and Hampton Bay (moveable) remote. Hampton Bay has a wall control I'm thinking of adding to the mix. (I prefer the Westinghouse wall controller, but not sure if it will work with my Hampton Bay).

Does this Remote work with Hampton Bay fans that are wireless only (preinstalled)

I have an AC-418 Ceiling fan and I like this controller because it has reverse. Does this controller work with the hampton bay receivers?

Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. This remote replaces handheld remote for the following fans: P2505, P2506, P2507, P2514, P2527 and P2528. It has not been tested with other brands and models of fans. Thanks!

Model # P2631-30 Air Pro Fan control

There is no side view. My current control UC 9051 T looks exactly like this model. Mine had a side window with 4 switches, on/off for the code...Does the P2631-30 have that code window with the four switches ??
Asked by: DTB
Yes it has 4 dip switches. However it will not come with the companion receiving unit that is installed in the light/fan. It is also much more expensive than the wall switches that do come with a receiving unit.

Does this remote includes reciever or do I have to buy it separet and what part is that?

Asked by: Igor
No. The wall switch does not come with the receiving unit. There are other brand ceiling fan wall switches that do come with the receiving unit and they are much less money to purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great wall switch Worked great for over 10 years. Then stopped. New one is fine, but the receiver in the fan unit is suspect. They should have included a new receiver with the wall unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, reliable, functional I have one of these that I intalled two or three years ago. It was as easy to install as a light switch. It works just as it should. The only trouble I had was I had to change the frequency (easy to do, just slide a little switch on the unit) because a remote in the other room shared the same frequency.
