Answer:
A regular 60w bulb will fit. I did however used 60w ceiling fan bulbs as they were smaller easier to install and sit further inside the shades.

I've found there are 2 sizes of HE indoor light bulbs normally available in Home Depot stores. Both will bit within the glass shade; however, the smaller size fits within the frosted section and looks better.

Does this fixture come with screws to mount the round plate to the wall box?

I ordered this fixture, and mine did not come with screws to mount the round plate to the wall box. It did come with the bolts to mount the fixture to the plate.

It also seems impossible to use the round plate supplied with the fixture, with my wall box, as the mounting holes on the wall box are horizontally oriented, and the only holes in the plate that line up with those mounting holes are the ones that need to line up vertically to mount the fixture to the plate.

Yes, there were screws for mounting the round plate to the box. We didn't have a box so my husband used 4 drywall anchors and screws. Answer:
Mine came with everything needed to mount it. I will admit, I was having the bathroom completely renovated and one of the workmen hung it for me. He had to make a new hole in the wall and spackle over the existing one otherwise it wouldn't have been centered over the mirror. That's beyond my pay grade lol But that problem wasn't the fault of the light.

Screws for attachment to a wall box are supplied with the wall box since those are part of the safety listing for the box. The round plate supplied with your fixture has many slots that can be used for attachment to the wall box.

I just reached inside the glass shade and screwed in the light bulb. You cannot take the light shade off when a light bulb is installed as it is held in place with a nut around the light socket.

Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. The outside glass is held on by a socket screw and the bulb. The bulb can be replaced thru the bottom or top whichever way you choose to mount it. Thanks!

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 29 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Modern update to our powder room I am happy with this fixture. It showed up just days after I ordered it, no issues with the packaging or the fixture. Everything came in one piece - no damage. The fixture was easily installed in a short amount of time. I was concerned because I saw other reviews that said it came with screws that were too long. I found this not to be the case. Instead it's a case of poor instructions and DIY'ers that don't understand how these fixtures are supposed to be assembled. The fixture comes with two screws that are "too long" to accommodate any possible depth the electrical junction box may be recessed into the wall (including varying depths for drywall, ceramic tile, back-set into the wall cavity). The trick is to screw the two screws into the mounting plate to what is the proper depth for the screws to reach the decorative nuts that hold the fixture in place. You then take the two hex nuts and screw them on the screws until they are tightly against the mounting plate (this step is not included in the instructions). This is called "double-nutting". It secures the screw to the plate at the proper depth and locks it in place. Once this is done, installation is fairly simple. I mounted the fixture with the glass facing down so they wouldn't become dust-collectors, plus I like the down-look better. In the picture you can see that I used the matching ceiling light as well. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good quality, looks great We ordered two of this lighting fixture for our bathroom on line and picked it up the next day at a local Home Depot. Was a little surprised as to how heavy and big the boxes were, but it reflected the quality of the product. There was very little to assemble and the metal is high quality. We installed them so that the light openings face downward and it still looks great. Installation was a 2 person job. September 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value Nice quality. Glass is heavy and substantial. Carefull on lightbulb size. Mine were big and they stick out. November 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks good Installs rough. This light makes a nice difference in our bathroom. The style fits perfectly with what we are trying to accomplish as we update. We were somewhat concerned with the "linen" finish on the light covers, but it looks great. I highly recommend the light, but the install, well, read on. Installation was problematic. There are two long bolts that hold it to the round wall plate. The bolts go in the same holes as the ones that hold the plate to the wall box so you can't use those holes to connect the plate to the box since the holes in the plate are threaded for the bolt. I ended up pulling the nails out of the wall box so I could rotate it. Luckily some of the slots on the supplied plate are at the same distance from the center of the plate as the threaded holes for the bolts that came with it so I could use them to fasten the plate to the rotated box. The bolts that come with the light are too long if you completely thread them to the plate. We discovered this after the fixture has been connected electrically so we had to take it back off, shorten the distance they screwed in and put it back up. There are two nuts that come with it that are meant to be used to tighten the bolt against the plate so the bolt won't turn when you tighten the cap over the light when you put it up. You could probably let the bolt turn as you screwed on the cap, but that idea made nervous. I want a solid connection. The directions do not show this nut in the drawing so you have to realize what it's for without help. This light fixture (3 light) is heavy. I wouldn't attempt to install it without a second person helping. The directions are the worst I've ever seen. No text, just pictures that don't show the nut. So, yes, buy it if you like it. Just be prepared for an install that is harder than most. October 29, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by beautiful I had to pick vanity lights for 7 bathrooms, for a duplex I'm building (the first of several duplexes). I picked 4 different model vanity lights to compare for the next duplexes. I liked all of them, but this one is by far the best looking. (the 3-light vanity is cheaper than the 2-light, I think this is a HD pricing error, but I'm not complaining.) February 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful light and veyr modern My father put it in, but he said it was easy to install once we placed in a new stud to the wall, but beautiful light and very happy with the price. March 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very attractive with linen shades that make the look I looked at a lot of different bathroom vanity fixtures before choosing this one because of appearance and value. I love the modern, clean look of the design. The linen shades really make the fixture unique and more expensive-looking than it is. The design is transitional and works with modern and as well as traditional furnishings. The price of $65 was great. It was the cheapest three light fixture I looked at by $30-$35 and cheaper than the two light fixture in the same style. In terms of quality, the fixture is made of metal and glass and seems solid. The finish on the metal was a little uneven, but not noticeable when the light is hung. I installed with the lights pointing down and it was very easy to install. It makes a huge difference in my bathroom and really dresses it up! August 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Vanity lighting Not a lot of clean, attractive, non-frilly options out there at a reasonable cost. This hit the mark for me. An attractive complement to my contemporary bathroom. Installed with a dimmer switch - the range from dim to bright is exceptional. January 20, 2015
