Answer:
antique nickel is a little more gray than the brushed nickel, but they look fine with my brushed nickel towel bars already in the bathroom. Not a glaring difference and I actually like the antique nickel look.

I have brushed nickel in my bathroom, but loved this light so i took and chance and ordered it. I love it, the color has just a hint.. hint of gold but it goes great with all of my brushed nickel fixtures!

Answer:
My experience is that the antique color is slightly more rich - a bit darker than the brushed nickel finish. Don't be worried though - they all blend together.

Answer:
Brushed nickel is regular nickel with a brushed finish. No color change, just looks dull instead of polished. Antique nickel will appear darker. It's usually made that way with a black glaze type coating. It will be darker in any textured areas. Hope this helps!

Brushed nickle is closer to a buffed chrome...antique nixkle looks like brushed chrome with an aged patina look. Hope this helps!

Answer:
Antique Nickel has a slightly "pewter" type appearance. It is also a brushed finish, but an oxide has been applied to give the finish a vintage look.

100 watts. This wattage is extremely bright and I opted to put in less wattage bulbs with very adequate brightness.

Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. Yes, this light is dimmable, with a standard incandescent dimmer. If using LED bulbs please be sure the bulbs you purchase are dimmable. Thanks!

Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. From the wall to the inside of the glass is 1 inch.. But the middle glass is over the mounting plate and it looks to only be about 1/3 of an inch clearance in between the glass and the mounting plate. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Industrial look We are currently remodeling 3 bathrooms in our 20 year old house to update it. When i first spotted this light fixture at Home Depot i was so excited because it looks different than all of the other options we had. It gives our bathroom a very updated stylish look. It's more of an industrial look which is really the new style now and you see this look in many magazines and on HGTV shows. The globes seem big however the design is beautifully balanced and modern. I purchased the antique nickel and I am using 60 watt led natural light bulbs and we have light gray painted walls. The lighting thru the globes is very clean and bright but not too bright. You can use brighter bulbs however 60 watt each was perfect for the size bathroom these are in. It was easy to install and I love the look so much I am thinking of replacing the other light fixtures in the other bathrooms with the same as these. July 30, 2016
