Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by dead after two years Nice looking fixture but motion sensor stopped working after two years of service. I installed two of them on each side of garage door. They were mounted fairly close to eaves so were not even exposed to much sun or rain. The last six months their operation became more sluggish. Not turning on as soon as they should. Eventually they stopped working completely. No motion or manual operation. Completely dead. Way to expensive for two years of service. Don't waste your money. November 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by dead twice in one year This is absolutely a trash. The lantent was dead first within 3 months. Fortunately, I had a receipt from Home Depot so got a replacement because of the excellent service from Home Depot. However, the replacement worked for one year and was dead again. This time I guess that I have to buy it instead of asking a favor from Home Depot. Save your money and buy different lantent. July 2, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Piece of junk I am so disappointed in this light. I have the matching non-motion sensor lights elsewhere on my home and I wanted the match for my backdoor. This thing is an nightmare. It worked ok for a few weeks, then intermittently for a while and now not at all. It is a total waste of money. Save your time and money and pass on this decorative piece of junk. October 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Attractive nightmare I bought two of these for our new home in 2011. They have been a nightmare since they went up. They look FANTASTIC, but simply do not function. The buttons to switch the timer and motion sensor from the get go were difficult to operate. No big deal really since I set it and was done. These lights burned through bulbs faster than any light I have ever seen. Especially since we use the motion sensor and otherwise they were off. Then one light would work and then the other wouldn't and then they switched when I replaced bulbs. I've finally given up and had someone come look at them only to find out that the switches that were once hard to move are now totally broken. (which is odd since I've never adjusted them or moved them.) So I have to find replacements. I am so disappointed as the look of these lights is fantastic. Just poor operation. October 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No more tripping over stuff on the porch and no more fumbling with my keys Previous outdoor light would burn out bulbs left and right. No matter what I tried, rain would seep into the top of the light, zap, out would go one of the three bulbs. This new light with it's electric eye to detect when it light and motion sensor to detect when something is moving around more then fits the bills. No more dropping my key to the house and being able to find it. It the right amount of light at right spot at the right place at the right time! February 7, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst purchase ever - even the cheap lights the builder had worked better I bought these because it looked like exactly what I wanted. I has been nothing but a waste of money and trouble ever since purchase. It works for awhile and then it doesn't. It doesn't always come on and have had it looked at. It's getting the required voltage, but still doesn't come on. I'm tried of having to pay a handyman to put it up, take it down, see what's wrong with it, take it back to the store and replace it with another one, only to get the replacement one up and it only works for 3 months. Don't waste your money. September 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT MOTION SENSOR LIGHTING This is exactly what I wanted. It's an attractive light that is also motion sensored. I have had to tweak the settings (there are three) so that it isn't coming on every time a car drives by. That said, I love this light. It looks just like the picture. An added bonus is that changing a lightbulb on this will be a snap. No need to unscrew everything to get at the bulb. Also, I installed the light myself. I am a 38 year old woman who is no DIYer. Very easy to install. November 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works reliably and is attractive Got this light about two years ago, has worked flawlessly since then, is sensitive enough that it goes on reliably and rarely seems to be set off by windy rainstorms as happens with my other motion sensing lights. Only issue is that it does not seem rated to work with florescent lights as some of the newer fixtures are (yes, I know CFL's are not designed for rapid cycling, but soon enough we won't have incandescents to kick around any more...)
