Answer:
The switch for adjusting the motion sensitivity is located on the bottom of the fixture backplate alongside the timer control. We do recommend adding a bead of caulk along the top and sides of the backplate to provide a seal against water. There is not a rubber seal or gasket provided with the fixture.

from one of the reviews that says "This new light with it's electric eye to detect when it light and motion sensor to detect when something is moving around"
this makes me think it has a dusk to dawn sensor as well as the motion detector.

Answer:
The P5661-71 is a motion sensor light. It has a photocell that keeps the light from coming on with motion during the day. The light will only come on at night with motion. It also has an override mode to allow the light to say on continuously for up to 8 hours regardless of the time of day / night. After 8 hours it will automatically resume to motion mode to come on only at night with motion.

Answer:
Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. When motion stops, light will remain on for the predetermined time that you set (5 or 15 minutes) and then it will turn off automatically. Thanks!

Rated 2.7 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not Buy This This product is a waste of money. The motion sensor has failed on two of these within 2 years. I will replace with one without a motion sensor so that it matches the other lights on the house. There are 2 more of these with motion sensors but they are not used often and the motion sensors have been turned off in order to (hopefully) prolong the inevitable replacements. July 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Too sensitive The sensitivity to movement is extremely high. I recommend that it is set on low first. The motion sensor activates the light in the morning when not if direct sun light. June 21, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No Good Purchased 2 lights on Feb.26 2016 Went on very simply and looked and worked as advertised! On April 12 2016 had to replace one of lights as it quit working completely. The one I replaced has now quit working as well. So as of May 29th I will be replacing both lights with a different brand!!! Totally dissatisfied with this product!! May 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money After the one year warranty you can order replacement parts for the housing but not for the electronics which is the basic problem with this product. Two years of service in my opinion is not a good value. May 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by sensor fail I purchased two. After a year both died within a week of each other. Replaced both and the new one died two months later. May 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value I bought two of these fixtures about 3 months ago because of the motion sensors. They were easy to install and have been working great so far. The small window pane lines up close don't quite match but they are far enough apart that you can't really tell. I'm happy with them and would purchase again. December 31, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by dead after two years Nice looking fixture but motion sensor stopped working after two years of service. I installed two of them on each side of garage door. They were mounted fairly close to eaves so were not even exposed to much sun or rain. The last six months their operation became more sluggish. Not turning on as soon as they should. Eventually they stopped working completely. No motion or manual operation. Completely dead. Way to expensive for two years of service. Don't waste your money. November 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst purchase ever - even the cheap lights the builder had worked better I bought these because it looked like exactly what I wanted. I has been nothing but a waste of money and trouble ever since purchase. It works for awhile and then it doesn't. It doesn't always come on and have had it looked at. It's getting the required voltage, but still doesn't come on. I'm tried of having to pay a handyman to put it up, take it down, see what's wrong with it, take it back to the store and replace it with another one, only to get the replacement one up and it only works for 3 months. Don't waste your money. September 11, 2015
