How we can tell if dimmable or not

Thank you for the prompt advice. So having 2 lights with 1 switch seems workable. On the answer, this light is not dimmable, from Home Depot website, how can we tell the light can work with dimmable light? I could find the dimmable light bulb, but can't tell if particular light fixture can fit dimmable light bulb. I appreciate further advice. Thanks.
Asked by: Ryuta
Very few fluorescent fixtures are dimmable. Unless the product information specifically highlights that feature, it's best to assume that the fixture is not dimmable.

I have one of the eclipse collection light. how do I get it off to put new bulbs in it /

There are 3 ball knobs and metal clips around the perimeter of the shade that connect to the metal pan. While supporting the glass shade, loosen these connections to remove the shade.

Can I install two of this with one switch

I am thinking to purchase 2 lights for my living room. For color, I prefer bright white. Also I prefer to have dimmerble and possibly remote control. If I purchase two of this and connect with direct line with dimmer switch, does it work? Meaning by turning one switch on, both lights works. Is it doable? I appreciate professional's advice. Thanks in advance.
Asked by: Ryuta
Yes, you can operate 2 of these fixtures from the same switch if your electrical circuit has the rated capacity. Please check with a qualified electrician in your area for more details. This fixture is not equipped with a dimmable ballast, so it cannot be operated from a dimmer control.
