Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice elegant fixture This fixture went into a powder room as a secondary fixture in a new house. I have bought several of these and several of the ones that mate with this one. The rustic color is great and goes great with other rustic fixtures and fans throughout the house. The fixture was easy to hang and was done in a quick manner. December 28, 2007
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A lot of bang for the buck! i was pleasantly surprised when I got the delivery of this light. It perfectly served it's purpose and I definitely didnt have to spend a lot of money. I have it in my entry closet. It looks great. The proportion was just right. Not too big and not too small. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Good for CFL There is a design flaw with this light whereby the glass is held in place by a piece of metal that comes straight down from the center of the base (which is mounted flush to the ceiling). This piece of metal prevents any light bulb from being centered. For an incandescent light this isn't too bad as the light seems to reach all areas of the glass. However, a CFL bulb will only light up one half of the glass so the light always looks like you are missing one bulb. Also, for any of these "etched glass collection" lights you should be aware that the fiberglass backing flakes off easily so you *WILL* get your hands, arms and anything below the light covered with fiberglass fragments. I had to grab a shower after doing the installation. November 11, 2011
