Rated 5 out of 5Â by Karen This light was exactly what I was looking for.
I needed a light fixture for my bathroom that had a bar to cover the hole which was off set from where the light was going to be placed. There were only a handful, at best, to choose from. All of the others were the big round bulb Hollywood make up mirror types. Then I saw this one. It is perfect and stylish and beautiful. I love it! So easy to install, and added great value to my bathroom.

This came with the brackets to mount it onto my wall, and they were easy enough to use. I also like that the little nuts that hold the face onto the bracket were not plastic but a much more durable metal (of some sort). I really didn't have any issues installing this in my master bath and would recommend this light. The flexibility of pointing the light up or down is an added bonus.

I bought three of these fixtures for two bathrooms at a very good price. They look as good in real life as in the pictures. While they were relatively easy to install, the directions were not very good, just pictures, letters, and arrows. Two of them I mounted to the outlet box with the included screws. For the third, the outlet box was off center, so I used the included toggle bolts to mount it directly to the wall. The toggle bolts make a pretty large hole in your wall, but the fixture is rather heavy when you add the glass shades, so you need a sturdy anchor. The fixture can be hung with the shades up or the shades down. My fixture is only two inches above my mirror, and the shades are rather long. It looked too crowded to hang them shade-down, so I opted for shade-up, there was plenty of room since I have vaulted ceilings. Now I just have to decide what kind of light bulb to put in them (life was simpler in the old incandescent days).

Wanted to refresh a bath that had a mixture of chrome, brushed nickel, and oil rubbed bronze fixtures! We chose to unify the room with chrome finish. This light's shiny finish and soft white glass shades blend well with the Revere Pewter walls. The shades are large, but not a problem for us. We mounted with the lights facing up for softer lighting. This was an excellent choice of light, since for our own wiring constraints a light with only a small central mounting plate was not an option. Wish they offered more Fairfield light styles to coordinate, such as a flush or semi-flush option. Great value for the price!

Spiffed up the powder room instantly! Installed downward, with the curlyque lightbulbs, you'll want the "short" style of bulb or they'll show. My husband installed the fixture with a minimum of swearing - that's a "glowing" review right there.
