The fixture looks great like the picture but here are the cons-
Either the packaging was bad or Quality Control guys were sleeping but I got the fixture with the central trunk slightly bent. I noticed it after I put the part up. So when I installed the glass cover next, it looked tilted like a bad installation job.
The glass piece is really really really heavy. Plus the base structure with the satin nickel C parts are heavy as well. I was afraid the fixture will drop down in the event of a minor earthquake and make a big hole in the ceiling.
Now that we use mostly CFLs which are slightly heavier than the incandescents, the bulb sockets seemed to be poorly constructed, very delicate and easily bendable with a slight nudge when putting in the bulb.
To top it more, I got one made in early 2010. :)
The fixture went back to Home Depot.

This is an excellent product. Very easy to install yourself. Easy to understand directions. The company backing it is A1. I had cracked the glass globe while installing it, my fault; so I called Progress Lighting in the U.S. and they shipped a new globe at no charge to me. Even thought I cracked the globe. You do not often find a manufacturer that willing to stand by product service. A1 rating 5 stars.
