What is the total length of chain included with this chandelier

I have an 18.5 foot high foyer
Asked by: Bonnie
Bonnie, This fixture includes 72" of chain (add this to the fixture height to determine the "overall height") and 15' of wire. If you need additional chain, please order P8757-81 for a matching finish. Thanks.

Can this be installed with a length of 20"? product height listed in specifications is 20. We have limited space.

Low ceiling height creates space problems for fixtures longer than 21 inches.
Asked by: Joy
Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. The fixture is 20" and comes with 6 ft of 9 gauage chain and you can use what is needed to install. At least 1 link of chain must be used to mount this fixture. Thanks!

Renovations 5-Light Antique Nickel Chandelier is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Renovations 5-light chandelier High quality, beautiful chandelier; picture represents the product well. Looks stunning as a centerpiece over our table.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for. This is exactly what we needed. True to picture and $100 less at HD than what I found on Amazon for the same light. Only drawback is that it is super bright so a dimmer switch is a must and also we wished it was a flush mounted light. Love it. Makes our dining room actually look like a modern didning room without being too trendy. Flows great from the kitchen as we have stainless steel appliances.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The installation instructions are poorly written Purchased the forged bronze version of this product. The buying decision was based on product appearance, size and color. Replacing a lighting fixture is straightforward; one out , one in. Using the instructions is a good guide. The instructions usually give you a list of tools required and a parts list. Expect neither with this product. The installation instructions are poorly written. The parts are not named, they are labeled with letters and no cooresponding description. There are two letters; G and J, that are not parts. They are the chain ends. You are required to open the links at both ends in order to conect the chain to the fixture and ceiling mount bracket. How do you do that without damaging the finish on the Chain?. Be as careful as you can be to minimize the damage caused by opening the links. A call to Progress Lighting technical support was not helpful. The product should come with locking links for the connections or "S" hooks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Products at a Good Price We used 4 different products (8 items total) from this line by Progress Lighting to completely refurbish the lighting in a 72 year old house. We had looked at various sellers of lighting (and purchased a few items) but went with this attractive and quality line for 80% of what we replaced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice but one issue This was the 14th Progress Lighting fixture I've installed in my home in the past year or so, all but two in the Renovations antique nickel line. I've been extremely pleased with the look and the quality for the price. As other reviewers have noted, the instructions are not that great if you haven't installed fixtures before. The chandeliers do take a little more review of the instructions. Another reviewer made a good point about two labeled parts really just being the ends of the chain. Another point made is that it is impossible to open the chain link without ruining the antique nickel coating. Using a cloth under the two pliers will prevent the pliers from damaging the metal, but the bending of the link will make the coating flake off. While twisting the link sideways is usually preferred over bending it outward, the latter will do less damage to the finish. Maybe the bronze finish isn't damaged. Either way a special link for each end should be provided. Luckily, I'm likely the only one that will notice the marred finish on the links. The chandelier looks great. One other point, the wire to connect to the white wire is marked, but you will likely be cutting to shorten the length. If you don't have an Ohm meter, make sure to mark that wire. Best bet is to just check the continuity later--wire the connects to white wire should be connected to the thread of the bulb socket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice Chandelier We had the chandelier delivered and it was packaged very well. The weight of the chandelier was lighter than expected, it made it very easy to install. The chandelier looks great in our diningroom.
