Rated 4 out of 5Â by BurghDIYer Beautiful - Directions Are Almost Useless
The light looks fantastic once installed. The main issue was the directions - they're basically useless. Several things are incorrect so it takes a bit of trial as you go along to figure out what goes where. Luckily I have quite a bit of experience so I didn't have much of an issue. Additionally, some information is wrong. On the wiring chart I noticed it said black goes to black and white goes to white...problem is both wires were brown! If you use the 100W (or 100W CFL equivalent) it gives off a lot of light! I have it on a dimmer so I can adjust.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jane Good value for this product.
My husband and I purchased two of these for use in a rustic cabin. We couldn't have been more pleased with the warm, rustic, and inviting appeal these lights gave to the main room of the house. Our handyman put them up in existing areas, taking less than an hour. We have both on a dimmer switch so that we can adjust the amount of light as needed.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Rockwell Great for Contemporary Dining Area
Product only offered on line. Very easy to install, but you may need a helping hand because it is a bit heavy. Works well with contemporary rooms.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by veritas01 Nice light...trouble installing
This is a nice light but I had some problems installing it. The instructions are pretty worthless though if you take the time to study the diagram you eventually figure out the proper order of installation. It does not show the placement of the parts on the bottom of the light but you figure that out when you realize you have extra parts. Did it by myself. I am usually quite handy but this gave me fits. This was going in a dining room and when I place it on top of my step ladder I could work with the wiring and the connection to the ceiling no problem as the ladder left a lot of slack in the chain and wires. You have to cut the chain to size. That means a bolt cutter and a trip to Home Depot to buy one. No Harbor Freight nearby. Then you have to squeeze the chain back together at both the top and bottom link. Took a bit of doing with a channel lock pliers. Scratched up the chain so I used a brown magic marker to cover the scratches. I put 60 watt bulbs in and thought...wow 360 watts...maybe too bright. No so. The glass globes soften the light and give a nice warm glow to the area. Even on full power (I use a dimmer) it is not overly bright. You can go up to 100 watt bulbs but 600 watts even with the mellowing effect of the globes would be too bright I think. All in all it looks great. Took me a few hours to dope everything out. Again lousy instructions but it seems all the instructions from this company are bare minimum.
