I used this product to build a custom entertainment center for our living room. It turned out beautiful and I can't wait to use this product again for future projects.

Walnut plywood arrived without any problems. There were not any blemishes on any of the panels. I only ordered a few panels to see the quality. Needless to say I will order additional panels to complete my projects.

Could not find in local lumber yards in 2' by 4', 3/4" walnut.
At first two were bought for a desk top, to glue "bad sides" together to give a 1 1/2 inch top. Actually the "bad sides" were rather good also, walnut, and a bit of wild grain.
This resulted in a truly flat top which had to be trued up to 90 degrees by trimming both sides with a straight cut router bit as there was a 1/8 inch error in the factory cut on the 2' edge.
The packaging was poor, thin single cardboard, so there was a 1/8" deep by 5/16" wide nick in the best side, with the most attractive grain pattern, that has to be slowly filled while finishing. The walnut color was a little light, so careful staining was necessary.
The veneer is very thin, measuring 0.019 inches on a Mitutoyo dial micrometer, so sanding is limited even though there were slight factory tool marks that would have been better sanded smooth at first rather then in the varnish stage. But with many thin varnish coats, sanded, the result is a very attractive desk top.
Then a shelf was needed so one more piece was ordered. That one was worse than the first two. It is warped down about 1/8" in the middle of the 4' length on the "good side". The veneer was somewhat rough and open grain and there were two larger nicks and several scratches. And really bad is the fact that the plywood layer just under the thin walnut has a gap about 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch wide running the entire 2' length of the sheet 6" from the edge. This resulted in a depression in the finished surface. I tried to fill the opening at the edges. This would not be suitable for a desk top as the thin walnut could break through with only small pressure.
I would have paid more for furniture quality plywood, but I do not know where to buy. Maybe a woodworking magazine? Anyway the shelf is done and I stained and finished the other side so the warp is up, and it will work for that application. I should have bought a 4' by 8' piece locally that I could have checked first and had it cut into 4 pieces.

Good veneer on both sides-not as many plys as baltic birch though. No voids. Made in USA.

I had planned this project last fall it is a Coffee table with a Butcher Block top Salvaged from a larger table that I cut down .
It will have the Walnut for the front and back panel, Maple for the Sides and then it will be trimmed in an Oak Molding picture framing all 4 sides. I will then affix the top it is my intention to Epoxy it and set hinges to allow it to open like the Toy Boxes I build.
The Panels arrived quickly and were packaged well even though the box contained 3 2 x 4 panels there was no Damage. The graining was spectacular in both the Maple and Walnut Panels.
After trying to Find these through traditional sources I am glad they were offered here.
I will remember to reorder again

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by benjamin seems pretty good for the price.
The edges and corners were a tiny bit scuffed, but nothing too noticeable. The walnut laminate is very nice and rich, and certainly thick enough to withstand the finish sanding required during staining. I recommend the product.

It's rare that I buy a wood for woodworking without careful inspection. I needed a smaller quantity than was available in local woodworking stores so I ordered on line from Home Depot. This product had a very thin veneer and all four corners were damaged. To be able to use the product I had to sacrifice some of the material. I will never order woodworking products from Home Depot again.
