Brush and Roller Cleaner is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well The dilemma of how to clean a paint-loaded roller or brush without wasting paint and making a mess is solved. This Yankee-drill inspired product allows you to literally spin the left over paint from the roller or bristles of the brush and provide a convenient means to clean them afterwards. The roller slips over the shaft and the paint brush is held firmly within the jaws.I found the paint brush holder to hold all styles of brushes, but the stubbies. Any standard roller roller slips easily over the outer shaft. To clean, after the excess paint is removed, is a simple matter of soaking in the appropriate solvent and spinning to thoroughly clean and then spinning to remove the excess, preferably in a deep bucket or outside to disperse the excess solvent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy Tool These roller/brush cleaners are spinner type and appears to be made very well, but it is heavy compared to some of the less expensive cleaners made with plastic and metal. These I believe are all metal so should provide long life, hopefully rust resistant as well. Make sure to spin the brushes and rollers in a pail or something to make sure that the fluid being expelled does not get splattered all over the place. I found that combing the moist brushes after spinning will make sure that the bristles stay straight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great paint cleaner I just love these paint brush spinners. It is one of the best way to clean brushes and roller covers. The roller covers slid over the end of the spinner. I recommend using it in a 5 gallon bucket, as it spins it throws the paint and water out of the cover or brush and will fling paint and water everywhere if you aren't careful. Brushes fit in the end and go between the two bars. Using this is conjunction with water is tthe best way to get a brush or roller cover clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good tool It makes cleaning brushes and rollers very easy and usually dries them out, the brushes more than the rollers and the brushes are ready to be re used right away. It does not take much action to use this tool but really speeds up the cleaning and drying time for each. Its great to use in a 5 gallon pail to catch the cast off from the spinning action, no need to mess up what you just painted.

I bought a Project Select paint brush cleaner about a year ago and just had a chance to use it on a painting project. I thought the price was too high, especially for a cleaner that doesn't work. It wobbles terribly and will not hold a brush when I operate it. I no longer have the receipt, but I want to caution anyone who is contemplating a purchase of a Project Select cleaner. It's junk!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The super brush and roller cleaner The brush and roller cleaner is an easy to use tool that anyone who does painting should own. This tool is one of the best roller and brush cleaners, there is a brush handle grip holder that holds the brush when you spin dry it, and the roller slides over the barrel of the drum part of the tool and when you pull and push the tool handle it spins the brushes and rollers clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great innovation. This is a a great idea for easy cleaning of both roller covers and brushes. Spinning all the paint out and leaving my roller and brushes ready to go again. Brushes fit into the self clamping center while roller cover slip over the outside for the cleaning process. This has a twist in place lock for when not in use. This saves so much time and water and is versatile.

It soon became such a valued tool that I can't believe that I lived without it all these years. Yes, you still have to spray, soak, and comb out your rollers to help dilute and lossen the wet paint. But not only does this product allow you to hold the roller still and in one place and rotate it easily while you're spraying and combing it out, but when you spin the roller, this product removes the majority of the dirty water. Just make sure you have a nice deep sink handy when you do this. At the end, when the water is running clear, you spin the roller and it is almost dry. The roller will completely dry quickly and, quite frankly, most of the time, it is ready to go again right away if you need to do more painting. This product can be used for brushes, as well, but I primarily use it for rollers. The one I originally purchased has been used to death. Nothing lasts forever, and it no longer works as smoothly or reliably as it once did. I just logged on to buy another for when the one I have finally gives up the ghost.
