can i grow my brandywine in a pot, if yes, how big should the pot be, and what material should the pot be made of?
Asked by: jay
Hi jay, Brandywine is best grown in the landscape, but could be grown in a container as long as it is large enough and the soil is well drained. We would recommend at least a 4 gallon pot that can be made of whatever material you choose. I hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, feel free to also give us a call at (734) 654-7485. Thank you! Hailee

The packaging was in great shape, no broken branches or soil spilled in box. A friend stopped by and saw the box and plants and couldn't believe plants could be shipped and arrive so secure and healthy looking. Wish I had more yard space for more plants. I ordered on 3.28.17, plants arrived with in a week, because of rain I had to wait a couple days to plant. Put it in the ground a few days after and it already has new leaves budding out! 4.18.17 ...Great service all the way around!

While the plant seems to be settling in as the focal point in my perennial garden, I will have to wait an entire year to see its cycle. It arrived very very well wrapped and protected. Not a single leaf was harmed. It had a nice root ball which helped put it, although small all around, into its site. It has rallied since, and the smaller leaves at the bottom are beginning to enlarge. I am happy so far with it. The leaves are a pretty gloss, and viburnums in general are pretty hardy and easy to take care of. But a year has to go by to see the actual performance. If it is a success, I will consider buying more of these type, to pollinate if need be. But this specimen has a flower bud in its main stem, which was a plus. I won't hesitate to buy from HD again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great viburnums The three Brandywine Viburnums I ordered were much larger than I expected. They were very healthy and have already grown. I ordered the same bush from someone else and it was tiny. It has been in the ground a month longer and is just starting to show new growth. The value for the price of the bushes I got from Home Depot is great. I have gotten good plants from the store. Now I know HomeDepot.com is a good deal too.
