Answer:
Hydrangeas need A LOT of water. I'm on Long Island and my sprinklers hit the Nikko Blues every day but still, on hot days, I have to water them in the afternoon or they will droop. If you are in a dry area of AZ, get the hose ready.

Hi Belle,
Thank you for your question. It does depend on what part of Arizona you live in. If you look up the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map on Google, you can look at Arizona and see what hardiness zone your city is. The Incrediball ColorChoice Hydrangea does well in zones 3-9, so as long as your city's zone is not above 9, this plant should do well.

Hi Cher,
Hydrangeas require full sun, meaning at least six hours of direct sunlight a day. If you plant a hydrangea in a fully shaded area it will not bloom properly. Hydrangeas do appreciate some shade in the hottest part of the afternoon because intense heat stresses them. There are many plants that do well in full shade and are perennials. Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Know The Hydrangea was packaged very well But when I opened the box I was shocked of how it looks I watered it very well then after a soaking rain planted it I plan on mulching in a few days As you can see from the picture it looks weak But hoping it will pick up and grow and live I love hydrangea bushes Looks like it was trimmed back Will know more later August 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by White hydrangea Next time will purchase the 1 gallon pot. Bigger is better. October 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quart size I actually had this plant before from another company that I bought fully grown and it had a flower on it. The flowers are big on a 3ft plant but my prior one died from not getting enough water. This is a little one and has no flowers but it is obvious it is a smooth hydrangea because all the growth look new and flexible. It will take time to grow but it came to be intact even though it was shipped on a Friday and held in the post office with no sun or shipping on a Sunday. I opened it and immediately dropped and broke one of its branches! It recovered with keeping the soil moist and using compost tea, it now has new growth. I kept it out of the sun the first 3days to avoid shock. It will bloom every year but it will take a few years to get the giant flowers August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I thought it was going to be bigger I'm hoping that it grows as big as the one in the picture! I bought 1 plant thinking that would be enough, so it's planted in a huge space with lots of room to grow. June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Plant This is a great plant which grows wonderful on the Cape with no maintenance. I this plant the next day after it arrived to get it acclimated to the weather. This plant did not arrive in the best shape. Some of the plants leaves were burnt and some of the leaves looked like they were eaten. I cleaned it up and cut off the eaten and burnt leaves. I hope it takes well because its a beautiful plant and I have a couple of hydrangeas in the nico blue and this plant will compliment them well. I definitely would purchase this plant but just look it over before buying one. August 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful color Planted in my garden right away. Waiting for spring to see it bloom. February 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Can't wait until it blooms I have the Pink and Blue Hydrangea that I previously purchased from Home Depot and have really enjoyed them. I have been searching for the White to complete my collection. I ordered and received this Hydrangea recently. I have it planted and it is doing very well. The packaging was superb and the plant was received in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this product. September 1, 2014
