Lo & Behold as a groundcover?

One of the bullets in the detail description of "Lo and Behold" is" Works well as groundcover and in landscapes". How would this work as groundcover? It looks like it grows as a little bush..... 24 inches high x 30 inches wide.... Can anyone post a picture of it as groundcover?
Asked by: Char
Buddleia is a shrub so I would not really consider it as a "ground cover" per se. To me, ground covers are things, like Vinca, hens & chicks, lambs ears, varieties of sedum and so on.However, I think it would be a nice addition in any landscape and I always find them easy to grow and attractive to butterflies.

The packaging for this small shrub was impressive. The plant is shipped in a bag in the pot which is great, no lose dirt in the box. It did have several broken branches and the shape is all to one side, not a well round shaped on all sides. It had some blooms are already on the plant. I will be able to enjoy it this year. Needed a White Butterfly Bush to go with all the other colors I have.Great for the hummingbirds and butterflies and this was a good choice. Just wish I recv'd a better shaped plant.

As a fan of Buddleia, I thought "ice chip" would be a good addition to my shrubbery. These shrubs are easy to grow and I've always found them to overwinter well, even here in Colorado. They just need to be pruned to the ground in early spring and you can watch the new growth sprout right up. This poor little thing did arrive a little the worse for wear, with about 2/3 of it's branches broken, but it has seemed to adapt well to being transplanted, even with the arrival of our hot, dry weather (watering it in well at planting is the key) so it sure is a tough plant. The flowers have not opened yet, so can't say too much about the quality of the color, but I have high expectations. The fun part will be to see if the butterflies and hummingbirds will favor a darker color Buddleia over this, or if there will be no difference.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Lo and Behold! The Lo and Behold Ice Chip Plant is a beautiful plant. It is a great addition to the patio or garden in a bright colored pot but be sure to water it often if it is in direct sun even though it is listed as a drought tolerant plant. My grandchildren love the little flowers on each flower cone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not deer proof as stated in product details I ordered this plant because it was listed as resistant to deer. Two days after planting it, it was eaten by a deer, including the roots. I have contacted Customer Service to inform them that this plant should be taken off the deer proof listing. I have received no response.
