The links on this page are for the UV sterilizer that this solenoid attaches to and in these instructions the solenoid is only briefly mentioned as an accessory. Where can I find a manual for this solenoid that tells it's specifications? What is the little white switch for? Is it supposed to be in 2 pieces? Is the valve normally opened or normally closed? How much current does it draw?

Answer:
The solenoid is normally closed until energized with power. If power shuts off then the solenoid would stop water flow. Solenoid is one piece although the cord will snap out. The white switch allows you to turn the solenoid off or bypass the solenoid to allow water flow.
Current draws less than a .25 amps.
