A few questions: 1. What are the inlet and outlet connections? I am assuming 1 inch female pipe thread? 2. Are the threads plastic or brass? 3. Does the valve need to be installed in any specific orientation?

A follow-up to my last answer (to my question) - The part is made by "Components for Automation" (CFA) and is part number C9-212N6252-GO-M. The box lists these specs: Pipe: 1" Max Press: 8-100psi Voltage: 120vAC 6.5VA

Where can I find a manual for "THIS" item.

The links on this page are for the UV sterilizer that this solenoid attaches to and in these instructions the solenoid is only briefly mentioned as an accessory. Where can I find a manual for this solenoid that tells it's specifications? What is the little white switch for? Is it supposed to be in 2 pieces? Is the valve normally opened or normally closed? How much current does it draw?

The valve in the photograph (with the white valve) appears to be an "Alcon 05FZ009A1-1GHA Normally Closed Solenoid Valve 1" FPT 120V". I find information that indicates that it is obsolete. When I received my order of this item a few days ago (March 2017) I received what appears to be a "CFA C9 Series Solenoid Valve w/ Manual Override Normally Closed 1" FPT 120V", part number C9-212N6252-G0-M-120VAC. It appears very similar, except there are hex flats on the outside of the pipe thread fittings, the bypass switch is a red twist knob and the portion where the cord attaches looks slightly different. Hopefully this information can help you find a manual. I don't think there is a lot to it other than what Purtest wrote above. It just opens when it has power and closes when it doesn't, to keep water from flowing when the UV bulb isn't on due to a power outage. These specifications were on the box: Pipe: 1" Max Press: 8-100psi Voltage: 120vAC 6.5VA
