Rated 5 out of 5Â by Saber 20 minutes to build
We were shocked at how easy this was to build. We really built it in 20 minutes and this included gluing all the joints. Well built and beautiful.

I had no issues with the quality of the wood or joint groves the assembly was pretty easy The online video makes for a better set of instructions than the ones included.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Shinypenny Bookshelf- Easy Assembly
This book shelf was super easy to assemble using a "Groove Lock" system. I had a friend help me, and we had it together pretty quickly. The bookshelf comes unfinished so you can either stain it or paint it to match your decor. I chose to stain mine to match my wooden floors, and it turned out beautifully.
It has a simple, clean design to go with almost any decorating style, and has good solid shelving that is adjustable. The shelves are 12" deep, and the book case measures 36" wide, and about 36 1/4" tall.
Great quality product made in U.S.A!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Desertheat1 very impressive---
This a very high quality designed bookshelf, I was a little sceptical when I ordered it, but after the easy assemble and quality I am very pleased with it. Needed extra storage for my supplies in my office and this works perfect. I left it in the natural red Oak as it came, for now because it is pretty. Nice to see it is made in the USA also!!!

Not crazy about the instructions. Tedious. Online video much more helpful. This does have some solid wood, the top and frame, but other parts are plywood. There is no cardboard backing so that's good. You need wood glue, sand paper, stain and finish to complete. We already had these supplies on hand. You don't need nails or additional hardware. Once you got it together it's a nice, basic looking solid bookshelf. It was fairly easy and quick to assemble but needed to let the glue dry before finishing. Looked at the price online and my jaw dropped. I can;t help but think of the 6 foot long, all solid wood already finished bookshelf I picked up at a thrift shop for $10.00. And the tall folding bookshelves I picked up at a national discount store for $70.00, again, all solid wood and finished, no assembly required. Or how about my solid wood gun rack turned spice rack/key holder I got for $3.00 at a garage sale. All these I picked up within the past 3 years, and all have character. Go ahead. Call me a lazy tightwad. But can't recommend based on the price and the supplies and work required. Cut the price in half and I'd say maybe. You can customize this to an extent and put your own character into it. Can't speak to how long it will last as I have only owned a short time.
