It can but I wouldn't just in case it needed replacement for some reason (mice). If it is run in walls it should be kept several inches from any power wiring to avoid any interference as this cable is not shielded

Answer:
It is not recommended to put the cord in a wall. I don't know the full explanation, but I'm guessing it has to do with a few issues; how easy it would be to damage with a screw/nail later, accessability, and most importantly, since power is going through it for the camera, code issues for that. Also, it's 'shielded' well enough for most applications, just don't run it parrallel to power cords/etc.

I just purchased the QT4760-852-1 system with 8 cameras. Will this QS100B cable attach to the cables that comes with the 8 camera cables to add another 100 feet? Or, are there special connectors required to connect these cables together??

They might attach, for the price you should buy just to see. Be careful when you add more footage as you will probably lose some video quality

Answer:
The cable should come with the connectors needed. Without looking up the specs on that exact system, I'll say no extra connectors will be needed. One possible exception, if the camera has audio, the cable will not support that, but will still work.

There are special cables to add the 110'. Home Deport does sell the cables 50'or 1' long, the important part is that the cables also have power and video connectors

Hi Mechmickey,
Yes you can purchase the QS100B cables and connect the cables that came with the original camera. All the connections are included on the QS100B. I do recommend if you are extending the cables original length to get a stronger power adapter so you don't lose any type of image quality. See below recommendation.

Hello,

This cable: Q-SEE 100 ft. Video and Power BNC Male Cable with 2 Female Connectors, is for one (1) camera, not two (2) – correct? If I have 12 cameras and required a length longer than the supplied cable, then I would need to order twelve (12) – correct?

Thanks…
