You can use RG-59 for color, b&w and also "night vision" cameras. I suspect that the Black and White they have in the description refers to the color of the cable. It comes in black or white, but I don't see any way to specify which one you want. I have ordered cables a number of times and sometimes they come in black and sometimes in white. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by This is RAW unterminated siamese combination cable. Please be aware that this is raw cable. It does NOT come with the "high quality connectors" as stated in the first bullet item. You will have to obtain the correct BNC connectors and the correct tools to put them on this cable. ALSO the power connectors are NOT on this cable, so you will have to find the 2.1x5.5mm power connectors that most CCTV cameras use and put them on as well. There are a number of ways to do this, but even the "novice" way with the screw-terminals for the connectors should be properly shrink-wrapped for any reasonable use. If you have the tools and the knowledge, the best way is to use good soldered connectors with a strain-relief. This requires time, effort and ca$h on your part. To purchase raw unterminated siamese combination cable can be done much cheaper. I needed to do a 1500' camera run and the only reason I purchased this 1000' & a 500' cable from here is because they came terminated with "high quality connectors". IF I had known it was actually raw cable and that I would have to purchase the connectors and tools, I would have simply purchased 1500' of raw cable for less. The 500' cable I was sent is NOT even proper siamese combination cable, you can read that review under the 500' cable. November 24, 2013
