Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by High quality, easy to install complete system This is a serious camera system with lots of room to expand. The 16 cameras included are solid and have a very nice resolution. They are easy to adjust and install. Everything is plug and play The wiring included with the package is 60 feet in length which is ample for most applications. The DVR out of the box is easy to understand with clear labels and color coding. It is much larger than I expected and takes up a large footprint. You will need AT LEAST a 19 inch monitor to make the system work. It has as HDMI hook up for TV use also. When you hook it up a wizard program walks you through the setup easily. The actual software is easy to understand and navigate. There is a lot of versatility in the setup with labels and video arrangements. I had issues getting my remote monitoring to work on my phone and compute and tech support was helpful. I spoke to an American in California and he was knowledgeable and got me through my router problems. Make sure you have open ports on your router. You may need to do a hard reset on your router if the system cannot automatically find them. I had port forwarding used on my router previously and the Q-See defaults were trying to use them. After doing a hard reset on my router it worked. If you have a 2Wire brand router there is a special, extensive procedure to get remote access. Having video AND audio recording is a great feature Overall the camera system has been great and should have done it a long time ago! March 6, 2014
