The Q-See 24 Channel DVR with 11 high-resolution cameras and featuring a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera give you complete control to scan the area and then zoom in on the action for a more detailed look. The eleven QM6008B cameras give you flexibility for placement almost anywhere while the PTZ camera allows you to cover a large area on its own. The pre-installed 1TB hard drive can retain up to 250 hours of video and depending on your preferences, the system can be set to record only when motion is detected, eliminating the need to sift through hours of footage to find a specific event. The QD6531Z Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera features a full 360 degree horizontal rotation and a 90 degree tilt. It delivers high-quality images at 650TV Lines of resolution in daylight and low-light situations. The zoom lens adjusts from a wide-angle 5mm to a tight 15mm range so you can capture the complete area and also essential details. The eleven weatherproof cameras included in this bundle deliver an impressive 600 TV lines of resolution and can capture the action day or night thanks to the 42 infrared LEDs surrounding each lens which invisibly illuminate the area up to 120 ft. away. The QT2124 is easy to access remotely, whether over the Internet or on any of the supported mobile devices including the iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices. Hello,

You responded to the above question concerning cable extension with this: I recommend you upgrading the power adaptor that the cameras come with from 500ma to 1 amp if you plan on connecting two cables and want to avoid poor images.

Please provide the HD stock number and price of the upgraded adapters--I wish to order a few...

Hi we currently do not have any Q-See power supplies available at HomeDepot.com but if you were to purchase one please make sure you get 1 amp or higher amperage with a 12V.

Is connection to the internet required to view live or recorded video or does a monitor connect to the recorder directly? Are 100' cables available to replace the 60' cables, can two 60' cables be hooked together, does either option reduce the video quality? If fewer than twelve cameras are hooked up, is recording time increased?

Yes, the fewer cameras that are hooked up the more recording time you will have available on the DVR. The recording settings on the DVR also determine the space available on the DVR hard drive.
