Answer:
That is a hard question to answer because it entirely depends on how much activity happens in the area that your cameras are located. the camera recording is sensor and motion based the more sensitive you make the system to be the more video it will record.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Peace of mind Day and night with the Q-SEE Platinum Video Surveillance System It came nicely packaged in 2 boxes. You are ready to go out of the box as everything that you will need is already provided. It comes with all the cables, DVR, mouse for the DVR, Cameras, connecters, instructions and the software cd. After the setup I was thrilled with the crystal clear quality of the images and recordings. Following the instructions I was able to set up the internet connection for the DVR. Now I get emails whenever the DVR detects motion and starts recording. 2TB is a good capacity as it records about a week or more events with that capacity. You can keep reusing the space once the hard drive is full. It can do it auto overwrite if configured for that. I love the peace of mind it provides. You can configure it to record audio too but for that you have to purchase additional mic unit. It has great range, it also records video across the street. It is very sensitive and you can tune in motion sensitivity as per your requirements. February 4, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult to assemble, many parts, but beautiful picture quality The surveillance system is difficult to assemble and will need to purchase additional items to have a finished looks once the cameras are setup. Functionality and intent of the cameras are beautiful, but assembling can take well over a day. June 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well worth the MONEY !! Overall a great unit. Came packed with everything you could possibly need to install the system. Set-up was easy and it’s designed to be done by a non-tech individual. You don’t need to be any kind of computer or installation genius to install this system. My system however was damaged in shipment; I will say that if you need to contact their tech department e-mail is the way to go. When I tried calling I was 4th in line and was told there was a 30 minute wait. I got an email response in less than 2 hours. After the technician suggested a few tests, we were able to determine the unit was damaged and he sent me a new unit right away and a label to return the defective unit via UPS. The unit came and I had all my cables run and camera’s plugged in and it was ready to go. Total set up time including the internet access for the unit so I could view it from my cell phone probably took 15-20 minutes. The cameras have great clarity, the unit has a large recording capacity and a USB port on the front so you can offload any incidents and give copies to police or insurance company etc.. This system is a great buy, it’s expandable to add a total of 9 cameras. I have it hooked up to a 24” 1080 flat screen HDTV and between the cameras and the monitor I can easily monitor my 84 year old neighbor’s house across the street and keep an eye on her,, She feels good about that. This is definitely a quality item that will last a long time and is built to be advanced in the future if necessary. March 5, 2014
