This is also the perfect small saw for working on mosaics. The direct drive 1/3 HP motor is quiet and vibration free. The blade cooling water reservoir is removable for easy cleaning. The saw is designed with a large, open cutting table.. The table also tilts up for precision miter cuts of 15, 30, and 45 degrees. The motor is equipped with automatic thermal overload protection to prevent the tile saw from overheating. Included with the saw is a 4 in. continuous rim diamond blade, 45 degree angle guide, rip guide and universal wrench. Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 77 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by easy tool to use and well woth it Purchased this tool, and received it 3 days later!!!!! awesome delivery time. When I took it out of the box, I was suprised that it was 100% made out of plastic.. I was quite doubtfull of the quality of work it would do. Well it's like what my mom always told me, don't judge anyone/anything by their first impression. I was beyond amazed on how easy and clean cut this tool made. Only thing is that it did make a bit of a mess with water( that's to be expected). Just let the blade do the work, do not force the tile through. With me using this tool cutting 13" tiles, I had to refill tray every 3-4 tiles. March 11, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not enough power! I have returned this item. The wet saw is too small and under-powered for the job I had hoped to use it for. My project was completing a bathroom backsplash using 12" x 12" limestone tiles. It was clear that the saw was incapable of cutting the tiles, even when using it very slowly. I don't doubt it would be a good choice for 4" x 4" tiles and smaller jobs, but if you want to use it for anything bigger, you might want to spend the extra bucks on something with more power and a larger blade (7"). Good Points Easy to put together Light and portable Self Contained (water in a bath under the blade - no pump or hose needed) Great for small easy tiling jobs Bad Points Under powered even for Limestone tiles Jams easily if you force the tile to quickly Messy - water went everywhere The blade cover post (behind the blade) gets in the way of larger tiles going past the blade September 8, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by buy this guy If you aren't planning on making a career out of tiling walls and floors than buy this instead of renting. For small jobs this saw is perfect. We had to cut stone tile and as long as we took our time letting the saw do the work it never jammed. For the cost of a single day's rent of a professional grade saw this was definitely worth it. Rated 5 out of 5 by QEP 4 inch Tile Saw I bought this online and needed it to cut marble tiles. The delivery was really quick and the cutter was quite impressive for it's size. I did have to cut small tiles and am curious as to how it will cut larger tiles. I am quite pleased with how it worked and am very happy with my purchase. December 23, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by 4" Tile Saw A small unit and therefore you must take your time when working with it. Nevertheless, it was great for the installation of a kitchen backsplash. No complaints at all March 25, 2012
