We decided to add tile near our front door since we our wooden floor had some damage. The trowel really helped to make the job easier.

I admit it felt a little flimsy when I first picked it up and I worried the handle might twist around or something... but this little trowel held up fine while I tiled my counters. My only dislike was it wouldn't fit in the small pails of pre-mixed thinset very well but I simply used a 3" putty knife to scrape out a good dollop onto the counter, then spread it out with the trowel. I would certainly recommend this product.

Such a great & well priced item!! We love Home Depot! This is where we go to get all our home remodeling tools and material!! Recently tiled over 1,300 sq feet of floor with this one tool!! It's still in great condition & my floor looks amazing!! This tool is definitely a MUST BUY!

Used this for three days when tiling my house. Spread mortar exactly how I wanted it to, but when I wasn't wearing gloves it rubbed blisters in my hand. Not a bad product, but I'd find one that has a better grip so it doesn't wear out your palm.

I really don't know what to talk you people as were just talking about a trowel here. It worked and I was happy for the rest of the day.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Duck Does the job, but the handle was loose on mine.
The square-notch trowel with wooden handle did the job, and allowed me to install all the floor tile in our remodeled bathroom. The trowel seemed sturdy enough, and the wooden handle was comfortable to hold. The only problem I had was that the handle was a bit loose, making it hard to maintain a consistent angle with the notched edge of the trowel.
