Rated 5 out of 5 by It works great ! Oh, it looks and works great. I did use it for ceramic tiles and small bricks and had no problem with it. April 3, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Tile saw While the saw had plenty of power and cut well, the depth and angle controls were hard to set and to interpret. There was no 0 degrees or 90 degrees to tell where you were setting the blade. April 23, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wet/Dry tile saw has no way to use wet Extremely poorly made, a piece of junk.cheap price for a cheap product May 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Useless for Stone Mosaics From the product description and other reviews, this seemed like it would be worth a try for cutting mosaic tiles for a kitchen backsplash. It wasn't. The blade has no problem cutting through the material (stone, in this case). The problem comes from the fact that the pieces of the mosaic are small enough to begin with (roughly 1" x 2") that they simply broke when the saw went through. I tried having the blade deep enough to cut through on a single pass, and I tried a shallower cut and multiple passes; it didn't matter. What might have worked (I didn't try) would have been to use a shallow setting to cut a groove and then snap the tiles by hand. My guess is this would have worked, but I didn't try it, because I already had a hand nipper tool that would snap the pieces individually, usually without the need of an initial score. I wanted to try this power tool to avoid the time and muscle strain of cutting each piece individually by hand. This might work beautifully on larger pieces and/or different material (such as ceramic, rather than stone); that's why I didn't give it a lower rating. But if you need to cut mosaic tiles, where the pieces are smallish and stone, don't bother with this tool; it simply will not work for that. February 11, 2014
