The QEP 20 inch Tile Cutter with 1/2 inch Cutting Wheel scores and snaps wall and floor tiles up to 20 inches, 14 inches diagonally, and 1/2 inch thick. The dual, chrome-plated steel rails offer smooth scoring, while the rubber padded aluminum alloy breaker bar will not mar the tile. The high leverage, non-slip padded handle makes cutting easier and reduces fatigue. The heavy duty rubber pads found on the reinforced base, prevent tiles from shifting during cutting. The cutter comes equipped with a replaceable 1/2 tungsten-carbide cutting wheel. This cutter also includes a adjustable rip guide designed to help make repetitive cuts in tile faster and easier. This ceramic and porcelain tile cutter is ideal for do-it-yourself tile installation.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by DONT BUY THE QEP TILE CUTTER! Today is 3/20/11 and I just bought the 20 in QEP tile cutter and returned it after 3 tiles. THIS IS POORLY BUILT. Where do I begin? The steel frame and sliding rods are extremely flimsy. They bend with extreme ease (they are not supposed to bend!) When they bend they take away from the downward pressure and promotes uneven pressure on the tile which leads to many broken tiles. 2) The scoring wheel goes dull after just a few tiles. I exchanged this for the 20 in Brutus and this thing is amazing. Its very strong, wont bend. You can tell just by handling this cutter that it was much better. Tiles cut with ease and precision! Even the rubber mat is better quality. SPEND THE EXTRA TO GET THE BRUTUS March 20, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Junk Had to finish a project late at night and didn't want to disturb the neighbors with the wet saw so I bought this cutter today. I couldn't even cut a single tile with it. The scoring wheel is too weak and the rails are flimsy. It might work for thin ceramic tiles but definitely not for porcelain. Don't waste your money on this garbage. QEP makes high end cutters but HD doesn't carry them and they also run over a couple of hundred bucks so unless your needs offset the cost of a good cutter, you might want to consider renting a saw for the job. I will return it tomorrow. March 31, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Spend the extra money to get a cutter that makes clean cuts Very aggravating. I've been in the construction trades for 15 years and know that a cheap or the wrong tool versus a quality product can make that difference between a great finish and a hack job. This tool doesn't make clean cuts, it breaks tiles if the cut is less than 2 inches from the edge, the slide needed WD40 or it wouldn't work. My 30 dollars would have been better spent towards an upgrade. I should have known better. December 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by good tool overall for the money using it to cut ceramic tile, cuts clean and tile snap easily. Used for cutting 16x10" tiles for bath remodel. Not making any claims for Porcelain but looks like it can do the job. May 3, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Faster to hit your head with a hammer from the start What a mess. Couldn't get a real cut for the life of me. Wanted to hit myself in the head with a hammer after. So save the time and hit your head first. Spend the money on a real saw. July 31, 2014
