Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ChrisGville Good stuff, easy to work with
Very easy to work with and to trim to your needs (especially when a room/wall is not exactly square. A previous post has a problem with curling, since this comes in a roll. But if you follow the directions and place the curled side down, you should not have a problem.

I've used this product twice. Once under Pergo tile and once under laminate both times because had issues with too much "bounce" in the flooring and this cork did just the trick to allow for a reduction in the squeaks and creaks. Not only does it provide more warmth to the flooring due to insulation effect, it proves to be an effective sound barrier plus it has natural pest repelling properties. Please note, that I did not use it on concrete flooring, but if you do, you will also need to also purchase a moisture barrier. I highly recommend this product!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by sooksook Cork underlay is exactly what the doctor ordered
Our apartment required some stringent noise-supressing underlay for the hardwood floor installation and we struggled to find the 1/4 inch thick requirement at local stores. Luckily Home Depot had some online that we were able to have shipped relatively close that worked out great. The price was right, and the QEP200 fit the bill perfectly. Install overtop of the concrete and underneath our laminate was relatively easy and it really is quiet now when we walk on the flooring.
Just make sure to take care when you're carrying and transporting it! The cork rips easily so handle gently.

I've installed laminate flooring before with foam underlayment. This was my first time using cork. The laminate doesn't feel bouncy or sound hollow AT ALL. I'm sold on cork under laminate.
I didn't have any problems putting this down. Others reported having trouble keeping it flat, but for whatever reason mine stayed flat (I did tape the edges down to make it easier to work with).

We laid 12mm laminate over a concrete slab in our family room. We wanted a quality underlayment to keep the laminate quiet, add insulation and insure a nice 'feel' when we walked on it.
After a thorough cleaning and laying and sealing a 6 mil vapor barrier the cork went down quickly and easily. I rolled it out, cut it and taped it without any help.
I purchased 300 square feet for a 250+ square foot family room, so I'll be ordering more when I am ready to lay the laminate over a wood subfloor (no vapor barrier) in our living and dining rooms. I am even considering laying it under the ceramic tile we'll be laying in the kitchen.
I recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality underlayment.
