Rated 4 out of 5 by Good price, chips tiles at corner Great price for a score and snap cutter. The dual rails and long handle makes snapping 24" tiles a breeze. The only complaint is that the cutter is very sensitive at the edge of the tile where the snap begins. I was never able to get a perfect snap. It always veered from the score line at the edge of the tile. I do not notice the chips with the grout in place though. I did have one tile shatter, but I am not convinced that it was the fault of the cutter. May 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product, could be better Good size and cuts well. Value for the money is good as well. In my opinion the cutting wheel wears out a little too quickly and can be expensive to replace; especially if it has to be replace frequently. If you were doing a big job, it could add up. It can be a little tricky to get clean edges every time, but with a little care you should be able to minimize this issue. Works well on squared as well as diagonal cuts. In spite of the above mentioned issues, it's still worth the money - but . . . it could be better. June 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Plenty of room for oversized tile. I got this to cut 24" tiles for my entry way since my old one won't cut anything that big. The tiles easily fit and the cutter works just like my old one. One thing to note in planning try to plan your job so you don't have to cut skinny strips the length on the tile. I had some trouble with splitting and chipping trying to get a thin strip. If you need thin strips consider a wet saw. June 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Machine The QEP 24 in. Tile Cutter is well built and easy to use. The linear bearing slides make it easy to score a perfect line, while the angle attachment provides a convenient stop for multiple cuts. It makes a good choice for cutting any smooth tile. June 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fair to good for the price Worked great doing 24 in diagonal cuts on 18 in tiles. After 10-15 cuts tho, the cutting wheel was worn out, and the base flex increased, so I had to clamp all 4 corners to a bench, and replace the cutter. Now I get about 4 of 5 diagonal cuts to work. Could not find the correct replacement cutter anywhere including QEP, had to modify a different cutter to work. stop is too short, should be at least 12 in if this is to be used with 24 in tiles. Worked uniformly excellent for rip cuts. Replacement cutters expensive at $18-20. Performed fair under challenging conditions . March 24, 2013
