For an inexpensive wet saw, it does what it's supposed to do. The motor it a tad weak so you must feed rather slowly or it'll bog down, not a huge issue. The slide out extension is a good idea but it slides a bit too easily so don't push against the fence too hard or it'll try to move while cutting. Other than those few issues, I was able to complete some pretty intricate cuts for my bathroom remodel.

I needed an inexpensive wet saw to cut through a backsplash job using porcelain tile. First impression is that this is cheaply made. There are kids toys on the market made out of stronger plastic than this tool. While installing the blade, I quickly realized it makes contact with the cutting table instead of freely spinning as it should, because the blade is warped. Still, I kept installing (to see if this changed). Step two is securing the blade guard. Two turns of the screw and the fastener crumbled. The screws are too short to fasten anyway once you've added the thickness of the blade guard base. Returning on the same day. QEP is crazy if they think this is worth a hundred dollars.

I did not like the saw. It chipped my granite tiles not giving a smooth cut. I previously had the cheaper model that lasted 5 years and worked great. I returned this saw and went and bought the cheaper model again which had a smoother cut and no chips.

As a DYI my first tiling project. I purchased this because I wanted an inexpensive wet saw for a small bathroom project. Set up quite easy and have cut through procelain tile with ease. It does seem slow but I have nothing to compare to. I will say that after extensive research and reading comments on various sites that I was a bit nervous about buying this saw but I have been pleasantly surprised! It is cutting my porcelain with ease and no chips. I have been cutting them upside down and just a few tiny chip on the back but that's it. I was told to get the "Black Widow " blade but thought I'd try the standard blade (Diamond porcelain and glass) first and it worked fine. I had to do a few fancy cuts around corners and no problem. I will say that initially I had to make a few adjustments. I've read that some complained about the saw bogging down. Mine was doing that and then I realized the metal bracket for the blade guard wasn't perfectly lined up. with the blade and was hitting it. I also learned that the guide can be slightly not straight and if cutting a longer tile it will put pressure on the blade and stop. My solution was to loosen the guide and it worked fine. IT is just a plastic base but so what , it works fine and keeps the cost down. I also like that it isn't messy. I put it on my desk just across the hall and no splashing whatsoever! Overall I am very pleased and think this little " toy" will last for my next tiling project so money well spent.

I bought this saw for my first attempt at tiling and it worked great. I had a tricky tile to cut, marble herringbone mosaic, but this saw made cutting it a piece of cake. For the price this saw cut like a champ.

Was hesitant about the purchase but didn't want to be on a time crunch meeting the rental time frame for a saw. The saw worked great. Easy to use and seems to be very durable despite the cost. Planning on using this saw till its wore out then purchase another!

The first attempt to cut tiles was a flop thanks to the warped cutting wheel. So I replaced it with my old tile saw's wheel. That worked for half the tile job, but the motor seemed to get weaker and the wheel would stop spinning half way through the tile. I've been tiling for eight years and this saw was a quick replacement for my WorkForce 7" tile saw that I used for years, but the on/off switch finally died. I think that I will replace my old switch with the switch from this new lame tile saw.
