Answer:
I don't k now about glass. I used it on 1 ft by 2 ft ceramic tiles and it did a great job. Like any tile cutter, it didn't give me an absolute clean cut, but I used a belt sander to smooth out the cut edge.

Thank you for your inquiry.
Our smaller version of the 10900 cutter would be a better choice, The 10630 or our 10600 would be better for the type of tile that you have.

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Home project This tile cutter is designed to cut tile up to 36". The problem is that when you try to score large tile, the slide bars flex and prevent it from making a good score and this prevents you from snapping the tile without it breaking. August 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worth every penny and some! the cutter came early and the box was very beat up. thank goodness it was all intact and no damage.I used the cutter to install 1300 square feet of 20 inch porcelain tile...to get started with the machine, the blade did not hit along the center as typical of Qep machines (ive had 3 0r 4) but off to the right near foam cushion but once we figured that out it was great. My cousin even purchased one for himself after he used mine. this machine is huge and you can't imagine how big until you see it in person. Of all the machines that I have owned this one has all the best parts from the bigger ones but cost half the money. June 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excelent Big tile cutter This tile cutter makes clean and nice small 1.5" cuts in big ceramic porcelanto 32"x32" tiles July 14, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Did not work on porcelain tile Works fine on ceramic but will not long runs (5" or more) of porcelain tile with out running off cut line. April 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not good for Porcelain This thing is so big the bars flex and will not put enough pressure to crack a tile. Porcelain tile is so hard it will not crack well. June 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent bang for the buck. I tiled a big bathroom with 1 ft x 2 ft tiles and this tool saved me a lot of time and headaches. It's huge! You only realize how big it is and how big of a tile can cut when you take it out of the box. August 21, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Somewhat works.... Bought this tile cutter to cut my 13 inch porcelain tile on the diagonal. Due to the highly irregular surface of my tile, this cutter couldn't effective score the tile. I ended up wasting too many tiles. Ended up getting a wet saw instead. This cutter should only be used on smooth surfaced tile. May 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by overall a great product Easy to use even score 45° with ease and is made with quality material. April 23, 2013
