Paint is typical "seasonal" paint, but been on there long time. I plan to wet w soapy water for bit, then scrape off. I can use razor, but will take hours. Am looking for larger tool - will this be sharp enough, etc?? Thanks.

Answer:
As long as you have a new blade on it, or one that is nick free, it will scrape paint off windows...I use products exactly like this one to do that all the time.

Will remove a large majority of it however a grinder may make easier/quicker go of it -- especially if you have a large area to do

Answer:
Jimmy,
In my experience in removing glue from vinyl flooring, is to use a spray bottle, wet the glue, let it soak for 5-10 minutes, scrape. This may take several tries but the keyword here is patience, the scraper will eventually remove it.

Answer:
NO! It would scratch your window whether it being vinyl or glass because it is a razor blade.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Finally, something I got that actually works better than I expected. Unfortunately, the products you don't need instructions for you get a 100 page manual but a simple tool like this they tell you absolutely nothing about it like how the blade is meant to go in. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect, I love this scraper! I had been trying to clean residue from the floor in two areas. One was bare concrete but had splatter from the drywall guys applying new texture. The other was in a kitchen that had solid vinyl we had removed and, of course, we had some areas where the glue and paper backing stuck. I tried using a razor blade type scraper, 1 1/2 inches wide and no handle (I also tried this on the drywall splatter). Useless, I was there for an hour and the only accomplishment was my hand hurt! I picked up this 4" scraper with the handle and it worked perfectly in both areas! It made short work of the problems and I was able to quickly finish my project. September 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It removed extra dried grout on tile with ease and a little elbow grease October 25, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A steamer's best friend I bought this tool along with a power steamer to get rid of a couple of layers of wallpaper. This little guy did an excellent job. Totally worth it! September 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My newest essential tool This made several ugly little jobs a snap. Wish I had found it earlier! I keep it with my essential tools. June 28, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Scraper Blade Razor blade in a razor blade holder actually worked better. By using a razor blade and holder, you have more control than this item. June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Scraper The QEP 4” Razor Scraper is all steel construction, except for the plastic grip handle. Especially liked the 4” razor which made the scraping so much easier and it's replaceable. After soaking the paper remnants with water from from the vinyl flooring, it was just a matter of an hour or so with the scraper. The only gripe I had with the scraper was that the plastic handle kept turning while I was working with it. Will glue it to make sure that it won't happen on the next project. I would recommend this tool for a small project because of it's size. February 24, 2013
