I install plenty of tile, and even more glass tile. I use this blade on my wet saw for everything. I cuts through any type of tile I have thrown at it, and lasts for a reasonable length of time. I would like to see the price down a little bit, but, other than that, I have nothing to bad to say about this blade. If you are cutting any type of glass tile, you will not be let down with this blade on a wet saw.

I got this blade to cut rectified porcelain tiles. The blade that came with my cheap Mastercraft saw chipped the glaze and left a rough edge. The QEP saw blade doesn't chip at all and left a very smooth edge. The cut edge is very crisp. Very impressed!

Great tile blade. I always have this on my tile saw. Cuts without chipping, and lasts a relatively long time. Never have had any issues with this blade, so I recommend it.

I am a glass artist, not using this for tile installations, but instead for cutting slabs of kiln-fired glass for jewelry. I have tried many other tile blades, and each one has chipped the edges of our glass, which means we have to grind it on another machine before putting it back in the kiln for a final fire polish.
This blade is amazing. We purchased one initially, and it was a great investment...reasonably priced, but there was absolutely NO chipping whatsoever on the glass. We have since bought two more of them. They are long-lasting, and the cut is perfect. We're using it with the little Ryobi saw we purchased at Home Depot. I only wish they made a larger one for our other tile saw.
I used to work in flooring at Home Depot, and teach the tile classes. I can imagine that this would be the perfect blade for someone doing a backsplash with glass tile. You usually hide your cut edges under trim, but with this blade you could have way more fun with your designs. It's amazing, and I recommended it wholeheartedly!

This blade was offered at a reasonable price; the price is what attracted me. Unfortunately, while it does the job; my son-in-law and I both feel it doesn't do as well as as the one we replaced. We probably wouldn't recommend it as we've had better experience with other blades. Note, we're DIYers; and, while we've done several tiling projects, our base of comparison is limited.

Being a novice working with ceramic tile, the QEP wet tile saw equipped with the QEP7 Diamond blade made my work look like a professional did the installation.

I got this blade to cut 19 inch porcelain floor tiles. When it was new it cut great, but after the 3rd tile it needed more and more pressure to push the tiles through. I had bought the QEP rubbing stone to take the ruff edges off tiles, and noticed that it said you could use it to dress the wet saw blade to get a new edge. I used the stone and it was back to easy cuts. I cut about 20 feet of tile with this blade dressing it about every 2 feet and it cut as well at the end as it did at the start.
Here is another tip: Put a cheap plastic tarp under your wet saw setup and clean up is a lot easier.

The blade was easy to install. The cuts on the tile was nice and made it easier to install.
