The description says residential/commerical, At first they seemed to be of much higher quality, but after some serious work they break down quickly. I am doing a remodel of a rental and installing 1100sf of wood flooring, after about three days the fronts began to crack and the padding compressed. In addition the strap had to be constantly tightened and put pressure on the back of the knee. I am trying the 19.00 pair and will do a review. NOT Recommended for heavy work.

installed 700 sq ft of laminate flooring, pads started out great but half way thru job, foam was flat. Had to put some old carpet padding between knee and pad to help.

I was a little disappointed in the kneepads. I upgraded to the higher priced item thinking they would be a better product. The padding that your knee rests on is not as cushy as I would like. Tiling takes hours of time on your knees and with little padding, you feel the hard floor sooner than later.

I spent hours on my knees replacing the floor of my utility, and using these pads was a blessing. I have knee pain, and usually am reluctant in lowering myself on my knees, but these pads held up in the best comfort throughout. The single buckle is very easy to place with one hand. The shape is perfect to cover the full knee from few inches above to several inches below, but not too thick to cause discomfort as it tapers down. Two improvements could be made - the material caught all the saw dust, (so they are slightly worn looking in a single use), and the strap slips a little(if worn tighter, it is uncomfortable, and the pants ride up at the knees). All in all, an EXCELLENT value for the money, worth every penny and more.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AbbyFred Best knee pads I have found for gardening.
My husband and I have a gardening business so ordered several pairs of these knee pads since the first pair worked so well. We keep them in several places, our car, our truck, our garden shed so they are always handy. I was looking for knee pads with one strap since I take them on and off a lot and the two strap kind I find cumbersome and they never stay in place. These stay up where they belong and are light weight. I would recommend them for anyone who likes to protect their knees while gardening.

These kneepads are not the most expensive ones sold, but they are lightweight, cormfortable to wear, and durable for around the house activities. And my knees appreciate them greatly!

I've used these knee pads for a couple different projects - staining a hardwood floor, and removing a hardwood floor in another part of the house. These fit well, are adjustable and keep your knees happy. I have bad knees (ACL injury on one) and find that these make the jobs more tolerable and I'm able to work for longer. Highly recommended.
