Glad I'm not a carpet layer by trade. Although this worked just as I needed, knees aren't made for this torture.

This will save time to do it yourself so you don't have to pay a professional

Basically fell apart while using. I understand it was inexpensive but this is ridiculous. I expect more from a national company HD than this .

Tool has a decent quality but the teeth are not adjustable nor deep enough for thick carpets. If your carpet is lush and thick this tool will not be inadequate, spend the extra money for the more expensive model.

Unless you're doing professional carpet each and every day no reason this can't do the job over the more expensive versions. Sure, it doesn't have the ability to dial up the grip, but it works. I used this along with an inexpensive long stretcher and they both worked perfectly. I recommend buying this tool for your basic carpet jobs.

Used the Economy knee kiccker for stretching carpet and it was working fine if you are just one person or two. For the price, this is a great product that provided the extra lift needed.
