Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by You get what you pay for. Please note these are 5$ pads. Don't expect the quality of a 60$ knee pad, for just 5 bucks. With that said. These aren't that great. When i think of knee pads i think of 3 basic things. 1. Makes it less painful for my knees to be on a hard surface. 2. Have the ability to fall to my knees, letting them absorb all impact. (Falling on a hard surface with knees, especially with the added weight of a workbelt and other stuff can easily fracture or break a knee.) 3. The straps are comfortable. (Most dig into the skin, or even slide off the knee. I want knee pads that i can do up downs for 6+ hours and barely notice that they are there. These pads the first one it does. 2nd no, 3rd not at all. These are made of cheap foam, and cheap strams. Think of them as disposable gloves. You can get roughly 10-40 hours of use out of them. On a rough surface such as asfault, they won't last as long due to the fact that it's like cheap foam against sandpaper. They also dig into the skin a lot, and slip around even more. For 5 bucks, don't expect much. I'd compare these to putting a towel around your knee and tying it off. Doesn't absorb a lot of impact, just puts a little bit of padding between you and the surface.
