Customer Questions & Answers

how many are needed ?

how many are needed ?
Asked by: bill
The amount of # 2201 Pump Jack Braces required for wood poles is dependent on the length / desired height of the wood pole. All pump Jack poles made from wood 2" x 4" 's have a maximum allowed height of 30 feet, must be braced Top and bottom and every 10 feet in between. So a 10 foot pole would require 2 Braces, a 20 foot pole would require 3 braces , a 30 foot pole would require 4 braces.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for the price This product is adequate to the task but I find they are a little flimsy when used high up but nothing that a little extra safety bracing can't compensate for. When working at height the wing nut and carriage bolt approach is difficult to connect around the 4x4
