Product Overview

This Quick Stands Christmas Tree Stand by EMSCO holds trees up to 12 feet tall with trunks up to 7.5 inches in diameter. Quick Stands use a speed nut design that allows you to easily and quickly push stabilizing bolts into the base of the tree without tediously turning the bolt. Once the bolt makes contact with the trunk, simply tighten the bolt to secure and straighten your tree upright. It's easy as one, two, tree! The stand features a 1.5 gallon water reservoir and a wide drip lip at the base to catch any water from overfilling.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A Nice *Cheap* design My mother bought this stand for my tree this year. A wonderful thought, but an evident hazard of ordering online. The entire stand is very light weight for its size and made of cheap plastic. It's durable enough not to bend and break overall, however tightening the tree into place caused the metal nuts to strip when encountering resistance. Honestly, I believe they're just metal grooves for the support rods to thread through and by resistance I mean barely touching the trunk. When tightening the rods to the trunk so the tree would remain upright they popped, jumped thread, and stripped the groove. Three of them in the end are stripped (only 2 happened initially- but after the tree started tilting and more trying to keep it up the third went) and the fourth I'm sure if the tree had any of it's weight or trunk bark or maybe a stray needle on it would also strip. At the moment I have the tree up against the wall and a stand to keep it up right and we're decorating the best we can. My parent's tree at a small 5-6 ft. (small cause that's half the max size advertised) has the SAME problem with the rods. (Honestly, the rods were worse on that cause the trunk was further in and thereby: more threading occurred.) What's worse on theirs is the plastic shavings popping up around the rods. We're not too sure what that's about, but we're hoping everything holds together. On the plus side, 3/4 of their rods are not completely stripped- just mostly. 1/4 is stripped through (just to be clear.) Pros: Easy use design. Potentially stable. Cons: (Everything else?) cheap materials, cheap threading, CANNOT hold a tree of any weight or size without threading issues and thereby isn't stable. Overall: Design is good. Put it in metal with some thicker nuts (and maybe increase the size of the steal teeth in the center by a centimeter for larger trees..?) and you have yourself an excellent tree stand. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Weak Christmas Tree Stand This is a very affordable stand for a large tree. However, the affordability took away from the durability of it. 3 of the 4 bolt holes broke and our tree leaned against the wall. The plastic body was very thin. Fortunately, it didn't lean the other three ways to fall down. Also, the cracked body allowed water to leak into the interior of the base, creating mildew. We didn't discover this until taking down the tree. January 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by the best stand I am purchasing another tree stand for a family member because the one I have has been great for 12 years. This stand holds the tree steady with an adequate amount of water, 1.5 gallons. My current stands holds 6 gallons but that model unfortunately has been discontinued. December 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great tree stand Finally, I don't have to watch my tree fall over. This stand really holds the tree straight. February 7, 2012
