I'm a 88 year old widow and still able to mop my kitchen floor.
This mop glides across the floor so nicely.
I wish I had ordered it months ago.

I've been buying Quickie sponge mops for many, many years and I have to say, the quality of them is going down the tubes fast! Unfortunately, other mops seem to be worse, which is the only reason I've stayed with Quickie - the "lesser of two evils" as it were.
This latest mop purchase was especially disappointing, as it appears changes have now been made to the finish of the handle. This finish is very shiny and slick, making holding the handle while wringing out the mop extremely difficult. It takes all my strength to hold on to the darn thing while doing so.
I can remember having a Quickie mop for years and years and only needing to replace the mop head, but not anymore. This purchase replaced another Quickie mop (same type) that was less than two years old. The older mop handle rusted at the bottom and completely disconnected from the area where the mop head attaches! If that's the Quickie brands idea of "quality" they're delusional!
Unless this company makes improvements soon, this will be my LAST purchase from them!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by southernwolverine Replceable sponge heads
The sponge head on this mop is smaller than I expected approximately eight inches. It does have a self wringer on it by folding the head against itself. I like using it but would prefer a larger sponge area, I guess it would work great in tight places. It also has a replaceable red scrubby on end for hard to clean spots. It is very durable and well made.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Whitney Simple, durable, and easy to use mop
This mop might seem like the most basic mop, but the sponge is great and will pick up even the worst messes on the floor. Easy to handle, push to ring out, and re-use. If you want an easy to use, conventional size mop this is the one for you. The red harsher 'scrubber' on the front is nice to have too, but it sits a little high so you have to maneuver the mop certain ways to be able to scrub the exact spot you want (especially if they're close to the floor)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bizgoody1 Best mop in my opinion!
So, I know, many people have gotten on to the disposable mop heads, but in my opinion, the convenience doesn't outweigh the cost and the degradation of cleaning quality. This mop is so dead simple to use, and the construction is top notch, and might I say, with the right bucket, makes cleaning the kitchen floor (my most-hated task) much much more simple! The pull to squeeze function works perfect and makes it almost effortless to wring the mop, and leaves just enough wetness to clean perfectly!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MrG Changed for the worst!
My old one was made mostly of metal and it broke from six years of use. This new one only got used seven times in two months and the plastic rollers and hinge cracked. These new ones are all plastic. Very cheaply made. It works great but doesn't last long.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by dragonflyt Great until it breaks
It's actually rather hard to find a decent sponge mop, that you can wring out from the handle (as opposed to the awkward hand wringer that just waffle-irons over.) This one works great, although it could wring out more water. For me, using it everyday, it breaks too soon.
The first one broke after a few months. The hole where the mop head attaches to the base of the handle just broke open leaving the mop head floppy and useless. The second time, one of the plastic rollers to smooth the wringing-out action broke in days, and then again, in a couple of months the same hole broke.
It wouldn't be as bad if the heads were breaking, but it's the handle attachments so I have to buy a whole new mop. So far I haven't found any better. The roller mops have soft sponges that don't scrub well, and string mops just aren't what I need. It's super cheap, and maybe I'm too rough on it, but it seems like it should be more durable.
