Do the six holes go all the way through and What is the ID of the hole?

Asked by: wa2kkg
I believe the six small holes are for stacking another weight on top of one another. That is, if you want more weight holding your canopy.

Canopy Weight Plates (4-Set) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 99.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fair to middling These weights are too light for any moderate gusts of wind. We tried doubling up and still had to find other means to keep the canopy from flying away. The cost/ benefit is unsatisfactory for real life applications. They are convenient and fit well, but due to their light weight the performance is sub par.

I intend to return it unused to the store for a refund. It might have been preferable for me to have a store employee open the box in the store for me so that I could see if the size was suitable for my purposes.

As soon as I set up my canopy and put these weights on, a very strong wind came and my canopy was dancing all over my backyard!! I guess it would have to be drilled to the ground, but then what's the point, really?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ideal for thinner legged canopy I really liked the weight of these, they will hold well. I have thicker legs for my canopy so I had to return them. Defiantly would recommend if they would have been thicker in the insert area.. only one size available.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Weights You would need a stack of these weights for each leg of the tent and even then I don't know if that would work as the foot of the tent isn't wide enough to secure it. I went with weighted sand bags instead.
