How many 50lbs bags or quickcrete does it take to fill one?

Example: I have looked at the manual and can't figure out what I did wrong.
Asked by: Tryan
A 50 lb bag of QUIKRETE® Concrete Mix yields 0.375 cubic feet when placed. A 14 inch (1-1/6 foot) diameter by 48 inch (4 feet) QUIKRETE® QUIK-TUBE will require 4.274 cubic feet of concrete, or 12 bags (of 50 lb each) of QUIKRETE® Concrete Mix. Yields will vary based upon waste, uneven subgrade, etc.

Customer Reviews

14 in. x 48 in. Tube for Concrete is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Size Matters Bought the tube that is marked 14 inches take it home and it is smaller then the one I bought last year. Have we switched to the metric system or is it shrinkage? This tube is only 13 inches so it will not match my other pours from past years.
