Answer:
Yes, but ONLY if blended with an aggregate, such as QUIKRETE® Mason Sand. 1 part Portland : 3 parts Mason Sand by volume would be a typical blend for grouting flagstone. Please call the QUIKRETE® Technical Center at 1-800-282-5828 to discuss your project further.

QUIKRETE 47 lb. Portland Cement is intended to be used when blended with concrete sand and gravel to make a concrete, with hydrated lime and mason sand to make a masonry mortar, or with hydrated lime and plaster sand to make a stucco. Portland cement can degrade in temperatures as low as 200 degrees F. If the application will be near high temperatures, refractory cement should be used rather than ordinary Portland Cement. In cold temperatures, which may be considered to be weather that is below 50 dF, or near freezing 32 dF at night, concretes, mortars, or stuccos that include Portland cement may be utilized, provided that certain cold weather precautions are taken, including but not limited to the following: 1) Store the material in a warm temperature before use, 2) Mix the material with warm water, 3) Protect the application from freezing for no less than 48 hours. If these preventive measures cannot be taken, it would be best to wait for warmer weather. You may wish to obtain further technical support directly from QUIKRETE at 1-800-282-5828. Read Less

The product info you list says to add sand for stucco mix. Does this mean line is already in the cement? Stucco is comprised of Cement:Lime:Sand in varying ratios depending on the coat, such as 1:1:3. I'm having trouble locating either bagged plastic cement or the right type of lime.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Good Product Been using Quikrete products for years and have never had a problem. I don't know if I have used every Quikrete product but I know I have used a lot of them and if you know what your doing these products will do what they say they will do. I listed dirty as a con because working with concrete is dirty. May 12, 2016
