At this time, the Wink hub that it connects to is only viewable on iOS, Android or their own relay wall controller. Traditional computers do not have access.

Currently, there is no way to run the Wink app on Windows 8.x OS. However, Wink gets this question a lot and they are looking into the possibility.

Hello Yolie and thank you for your question.
I spoke to the team at Quirky who told me that you could use the Quirky Nimbus to set multiple alarms to remind you to take your medicines. The instructions are in the packaging or you can call their customer support (1-866-589-4759 or 1-866-5QUIRKY) for additional assistance. Basically:
1. Download the (wink: instantly connected) app to your smartphone

Wink Spotter Sensor - White is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 87.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from No longer supported While trying to set the Quirky GE Spotter up the Wink app says it no longer works with or supports this device. Do not buy the first gen spotter. Quirky has also gone out of business.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Well as good as the device sounds on paper, in practice it is not. I wonder it they did enough beta testing before launching this product. The setup is fairly simple if you are used to mobile apps and basic gadgets. The device is magnetic so you can stick it to the suitable surfaces without screws. It has four sensors: temperature, humidity, motion and light. However, all of them are vague at best. The temperature and humidity are nowhere close to the values on my room thermometer/humidity sensor. The motion sensor works sometime and sometimes it does not and so does the light sensor. I would have been happy if at least one of them worked perfectly as claimed by the manufacturer, but this thing is totally useless. I would not recommend this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returning it tomorrow Wink prides itself on easy setup... spent 45 minutes on the phone with support trying one "trick" after another to get it to connect... finally did. I don't consider that easy. I bought it for the temperature function that was very inaccurate, read 6-7° under my other thermometers, wanted this for when I was on vacation to know the temp. The motion, light and sound detectors seemed real erratic as far as when a reading would be triggered. After the time spent connecting I thought might as well see how it works... POORLY! Absolutely going back! Great concept but just doesn't work. I really wish it did...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They should call it Finiky The unit doesn't refresh consistently, sometimes giving you the temperature from 12 hours ago when you know it has changed. Also, you have to plug it into a wall outlet to use the temperature and noise functions, limiting the number of places you can use the relatively small sensor puck. When the unit is working, I like being able to see Relative Humidity and getting a notification that I need to turn on my humidifier. The downside is that there is NO way to check the alarm history in the app, so if you miss a notification, that's it, gone, done. Setting alarms using the app is easy and quick, but without a better notification system it doesn't have a lot of use all by itself. Also, it took three attempts to get it setup the first time, which is hard if you have a particularly long WiFi password.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from got it as a gift, wouldn't buy one myself, will see if I can return it great idea, bad execution, imho useless e-waste. - opening that thing is not straightforward, and one can break fingernails - one needs to open that thing in order to reset it by removing batteries - magnets that are in the cover might stick to one of the batteries and pull it out, while closing that thing, annoying - only light and motion sensor work when on batteries - it's a wifi device means those 2 AAA batteries not gonna last that long - power supply doesn't use USB like charger (contributes to e-waste) - sensor needs to be close to a power outlet, i'd say - 2-3 feet in order to be fully functional - $50 is a bit of too much for what it offers. don't buy it, still need to wait for better devices

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expecting more but still really like it! I'm tech savvy and work quite a bit with remote sensors. I am frankly a little disappointed with where this product stands. I think the sensor itself is a great unit for the price. It has light, sound, humidity, temperature and movement sensing built in and it's very well thought out from a setup and mounting perspective. Where this completely falls down is the app and the reliability of the notifications. The app should be named wimp not wink. It is so bare bones as to make all of the sensors almost useless except as a novelty. You can only set triggers - not view current readings. There are little sliders that have no easily discernible function. The documentation is basically non-existent. I'm not always consistently receiving notifications either. They seem very hit or miss. Having said all of that, the reason I'm hanging on to this little gem is because the app and the software that drives the unit are both able to be updated. What that means is there is HUGE potential sitting in this little disk. In a nutshell... if you are looking for something you can plug in and it will tell you all sorts of real-time information, you're going to be disappointed. If you want something to send you an alert for very basic events, you'll be happy. If you're an early adopter, like gadgets and like supporting innovation, this is well worth buying. The hardware is well thought out and solid. The app is very weak and feels very beta right now. However, that is only right now. I have high hopes that the developers of this product will continue to improve the app to take full advantage of what the hardware can do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works as advertised I saw the review above with the girl and her phone. It might be her phone because mine works perfect. I had to figure out that you twist to get the battery case off. You also line up the red dots to put it back on. After figuring it out it works great! But, I discovered I cant do all the things I wanted to do in my room with just one unit, so I'm going back to get a 2nd one. Which is fine, who knows how many I'll end up with to smarten up my house. Stupid house. The company who makes them says the app used to run the spotter will grow more advanced over time, so thats fun too!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage!... This thing is simply terrible! It doesn't do anything consistently other than not operate correctly. The alerts are haphazard at best and they seem to stop working completely once the thing goes to "sleep"... if that's what its actually doing since the documentation is so lacking one cannot accurately discern what its doing or not doing. Save your money and have a couple of drinks instead.
