Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SteveVA Used between furring strips
I didn't use this over sheathing but in my 1950s furring strip on cinder block home. With the furring strips, there is not much room for insulation but when I re-modeled the bathroom, this 3/4" thick insulation fit great in between the cinderblock, furring strips and drywall. It doesn't have much R value but anything helps in my cold house. Ive noticed a slight different in insulation.
I used a utility knife to cut up. The foam is messy despite how sharp your blade is.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Adrienne A little flimsy but good
I didn't use it for its intended use but it was as described myonlycon was how flimsy and floppy it was. Not as stiff as other insulation boards like it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sanjosemom Great for blocking knitted items
I needed a surface to block knitted items. This board works great. Accepts pins well. Lightweight and rigid, stores vertically.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by marjeanwil The versatility of this product met my needs amazingly well.
It was large, it was ridgid, it was light, it was affordable, it was paintable--it was just what I needed for making two backdrop stages for a vacation Bible school. Admittingly it was an aberrant use of foam insulation, but the kids loved it!
I peeled off the foil, laid 5 piecies on the ground, drew and painted the scene, then turned them over and connected them with duck tape. Then stood them up.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DaOldFard Good if you dont need to cut it
The first sheets went in well then I had to cut some to fit, after the 1st cut there were little white balls of foam everywhere. OK so lets change to a sharper knife, no difference, This is great if its the right size but be prepared for clean up when you cut !!!

In answer to the other reviewer's question...zoon into the product and you'll see the R-value on the panel. Depending on temperature, it's around 3.8 per inch of thickness. That makes this around 2.85R-value.
not great but cheap
