Outdoor travertine

I've tried acrylic urathane sealer that was not high gloss and it does not match the current sealer applied to my travertine years ago. I'm hoping this does more than simply applying a clear coat, rather it brings out the color in the travertine?
Asked by: Randy
Just looking to touch-up around the pool where the original sealer is stripped here and there. If I must, I can also try acetone per tile and reseal individual tiles. If I get good results, I may do the entire pool area.

Can this be used to seal Interior/Exterior Enamel?

Can you use this product to seal Behr Premium Plus Interior/Exterior High Gloss Enamel Paint? I was told this was the best way to get an ULTRA high gloss sheen that creates an almost lacquered look.

Customer Reviews

Clear-Seal 1 gal. Surface High Gloss Urethane Sealer is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Cured! I had read a few good reviews of this product & a couple stating that it turns white when it gets wet - I assumed the minority was confused, but I should have heeded their warnings. I chose this product as it is listed as an appropriate topcoat over other sealers; I applied it over a vapor permeable & colored resin, Lastiseal. Unfortunately, the Rain Guard never cured. Every time it rains, the "sealer" returns to the state it was in inside the 5 gal bucket - a white, milky film that mixes and subsequently dries with whatever happens to be on the driveway at the time - a real fiasco and disappointing end to what was a long restoration project for me. It also appears to bind with rubber...which yields tire tracks in the driveway. The Customer Service rep meant well, but he seemed to get the runaround from his tech folks who appeared to have little interest in understanding, explaining, or solving the problem (the best the tech folks could come up with is that the Rain Guard was turning white because of trapped vapor between the Lastiseal & topcoat; this made no sense as even A/C condensation dripping only from above for a few minutes makes the product turn white & slimy). They refunded my HD purchase price, but that doesn't help the $700 I spent on the now ruined Lastiseal undercoat. This product should not be marketed as a sealer of any sort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Three car garage Used Rain Guard to seal a new, fully cured garage floor two months ago. It hasn't gone thru all the seasons yet, so far so good. At this point I am very satisfied with it. I used a lambs wool applicator and it was awesome. It worked great and the entire floor was coated in 45 minutes.
