Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mark Great value, and work very well.
This is an excellent value for the volume that they hold.
The spigots are plastic but they seem to attach and work fine. Another thing of note is the lids do not snap on, so if you live in a windy area you might want to use a bungee cord to hold them down, the barrels conveniently have little holes where you can mount a bungee cord hook.
Other people have complained about not being able to separate the two barrels, but two people and some gentle thumping or twisting can easily get them apart.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Andy One placed in the other for shipping; Broke rim trying to separate them.
Barrels arrived stacked and I have yet been able to separate them. I bent/deformed the handles and even broke a portion of the rim on one trying to do so. The friction holding these two together is phenomenal; two people can't pull them apart. It's not a vacuum issue either because there's a hole in the bottom for the spigot. Perhaps if I add some oil between the two and wait till the weather cools down I'll have better luck. So far these have been completely worthless. With some modifications I guess I could use it as one double-hulled, awkward looking rain barrel but that will be a last resort.
Aside from the infuriating issue mentioned above these are nothing more than green 60 gallon garbage cans with holes cut in them. I have no idea if the rest of the stuff works yet (i.e. diverters, spigots, tubing, etc..) as I haven't been able to use any of it

A good product. Functional, cost effective, not fancy. This is my second set. The first has been in use for 5 years now with zero problems or issues. Decided to add more.

I've had these same barrels in the past, but had to replace them since the plastic spigot was hit and broke the barrel beyond repair. My only complaint if any is the rubber gasket used in the holes eventually dry rot, but are easily replaced. Otherwise, I expect this set to last a long time. This goes without saying, but it's extremely important that barrels are winterize to prevent damage over the cool seasons. In short, the barrels should be emptied of all water and sealed to prevent any future water from entering into the unit. In addition, they should be secured to prevent wind from knocking them over or blowing them away. I typically place a bag of sand inside each one and tie strap the lid to the unit via the handles over the winter months.

I just installed these last weekend. It took me about an hour for both, mainly to go grab the right tool from the garage. Everything I needed was in the box and it went smoothly.
The couple issues were pulling the two tubs apart; I discovered it was best to turn them upside-down, stand on the two handles and have a friend pull the top one off.
Another issue was the recommended hole height for the input pipe and connector pipe. My downspout is to the side not the rear of the tub. I kept the same height and drilled at a more convenient spot.
I am not satisfied with the suggested height for the downspout connector: I have it an couple inches above the tub, but think it would work better at 6 or 8 inches above. I'll play around with that this weekend.
Overall, a very good value considering gallons to cost.

Easy to install. Came with all the parts I would need. I would recommend sealant for all gaskets.
Takes two people to pull apart barrels.
Filled 4 barrels (240 gallons) with one storm that dropped an inch of rain.
Recommend elevating on cinder blocks to allow bucket/watering can access under spigot.

Seems to be a mistake, but mine came with two downspout kits and no connector kit... Extra grommets, not supplied, will be required to connect the two barrels together.(to be fair these would have been in the linking kit had I actually received one... Home Depot are going to send me a connector kit).
Biggest problem, however is that the two barrels come nested one inside the other, have obviously been that way for a long time and so far have proved impossible to separate...
